    I've seen the reviews. I've fallen in love it. But that slider is a little scary. A bit of dirt in between, and that could scratch the front cameras.

      It may not be a legit global version. If you login to Gearbest, in the discussion section, the seller says there's no wireless charger in the box. Which sounds weird when all the unboxing videos on YouTube shows the wireless charger for the global edition.

    Seems to be cheaper on Aliexpress, $737.35, although it lists B28, I'm not 100% sure its the global version.

          It's almost a deal breaker for me. I hate the trend (as I am a collector of headphones) and use LG for their superior audio BUT I am more about camera now.

          Bluetooth is more convenient and LDAC and aptxHD are closing the gap. I also mostly listen to headphones whilst commuting. At home it's speakers.

          I just hate the constant recharging for all of our devices.

        EU charger so it's global. Global versions unboxing on YouTube have wireless charger so presuming they stuffed up and left it out of the listing

    i am using a china version. The weakest link is the battery. it would last me from 7 am to 10 pm , but my usage aint the average users usage lol, i dont play games. Compare to my previous prime driver: Mi 5S plus (3800 mah), i would still have 30-40 precent left at the same time, instead of under 20 % or worst.
    The feel of that no notch full screen is so good, it is still stunning every time you fire it up. The AMOLED screen is not as dim as compare to LCD and the special eye protection mode is far from yellowish like LCD would.
    I was able to adjust that slider sound effect to igniting and switch off of a lightsaber. You can put on anything you like as long as the sound is good for public lol
    It has the All important Band 28, yes, because it was market as the business device like Mi note series, allow travel to all around the world and get fastest signals (then hell why not a bigger battery which business people would rather trade for on when needed.)
    the Frontal camera is good, it has a LED flash. The rear dual camera beats Mi5S plus for sure
    The phone is very heavy. I would settle for lighter and bigger battery than the current weight and material.
    finger print sensor actually better at the back than at the front.
    The plastic casing on the market wont protect all of the phone, the lower edge at the screen slider mechanism area will not be protected, but I managed to purchase a special chin that can stick on to the section to make that area protected with most cases.
    There is also a software delay in loading up all icon at the start of every day, clearly a software issue need to be fixed.
    Then that smart key often get touched by accident, launching whatever app i assign to (camera). I got no idea how it will work when running Alphabet Spy Agency's fav female assistant (not that the eastern counter part is any better, i would prefer Cortana as an option lol.)
    Over all, the phone is 7/10, if the next gen would have a 4000 mah + battery, 40g lighter, a bit larger and longer with 6.6 inch 20:9, (same width as the mi5S plus), throw in a wide angle, a standard and a portrayal lens, then black and white primary support lens, a ring flash, it would be my perfect phone.

    Battery is a bit of a deal breaker. After trying phones in store, I went with poco. Headphone jack and 4k battery. Camera is surprisingly good

    EDIT: Apparently I live in a remote area so there's a US$35 fee. Never had that happen before; I live in the northern beaches of Cairns and there's no fee to deliver to the city itself.
