That pressure washer thingo looks interesting.

    • Yep would certainly be more convenient / save space over a proper pressure washer.

    • That caught my attention too. Don't think there's an Ozito or Ryobi equivalent for it either (already got batteries).
Same with the light actually, or at least the portable lights I've seen are either crapper or way more expensive.

    • Does anyone have any ideas if it would be as powerful as a conventional pressure washer? Never quite seen one like that before.

      • Its only 320 psi.

      • There were quite a few of these around in the 2000’s when water restrictions were a big deal.

        The pressure is very low

      • No, it's not. 320 psi vs 1000 psi….

    • Well AvE says this one squirts water, so I guess it does that. I'll stick with 240v power version. Of course a different brand but we all know these things come out of the same factory of bad ideas

Hopefully bunnings will match the prices for their ozito power x equipment

    • +1

They have always done it so I'm pretty sure they will do it again.

      • Do they still match with Ryobi or do they use one of the home brands?

        • +2

They price match with ozito power xchange series (red colour ozito ones, not the grey one)

    • Yep, first thing I said too.

    • It's odd they (Bunnings) haven't yet dropped their prices. They normally post their orange price reduction notes on the equivalent items by now as well as online. Nothing yet has reduced…

    No lawnmower 😭

    • +1

      Or whipper snipper :(

  • +3

Now waiting for Bunnings to put their items on offer

  • Does anyone know if the older Xfinity batteries and chargers fit these newer models? Thanks.

    • +1

      Yes they do

  • +3

Shame they put the price of the 4ah batteries up. They were $30 each not long ago and $20-25 on clearance.

    • +1

Same price as last year, no increase.

    • $19.99 St Agnes,Golden Grove Aldi in display cabinet.must be the new normal price

      • Clearance from the last $29.99 stock

      • Don't suppose you know if there are Any chargers in those stores?

    • Very disappointed with the price increase, I have been waiting for this one as well.

  • Anyone know of these batteries fit the ozito power x tools? They are the same manufacturer.

    • +2

      They do not.
      Source: I have both.

    • +2

No, but check next week, Bunnings normally lower their Ozito prices to match.

  • +5

Just for comparison. The pressure skin is 320psi compared against a cheap $130 gerni at bunnings which has 1670psi.
The pressure skin is 2L/Min flow vs the 7.3L/Min Gerni.

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/gerni-1400w-1670psi-classic-115-…

  • +1

anyone know if the pressure washer fits gerni style foam gun cannon?

    • +1

Not sure on that side (IE if it fits) but at 320 psi and 2 L/Min it would not be enough to foam up your mixture enough to make it worth while, it would just be like spraying soapy water onto the car, defeating the whole purpose of a foam cannon.

Even a cheap Gerni @ 1670 PSI is line ball for anything decent.

  • +1

so all this 320psi can do is… wash a car?

    • It might, but not very well!

    • +2

more psi with garden hose and thumb

  • anyone know if the tablesaw comes with the stand as pictured ?

    • +1

Yes, it does come with the stand but I would wait to see if bunnings do a price match on the Ozito Table Saw.

The fence rail extends to the extension wings, it has a rear extension, comes with 2 extra blades and will be easier to swap over if there is an issue during the 3 year warranty period.

  • Wtf is a submersible pump skin? Has anyone ever wanted one? I think I'd be the only person alive who might find it useful. Then again, it wouldn't be able to filter leaves I suppose

    • It's a pump that is submersible i.e. for draining flooded areas water tanks, pools etc. The 'skin' part refers to it requiring a separate battery. i.e. it's just the skin that's being sold. Battery's an extra $40.

  • Anyone have Xfinity hedge trimmer? The Ozito one is almost useless for anything except very light work. This does look similar.

  • +1

There is a guy on Gumtree who makes converters that sit on ozito tools that allow use of Aldi batteries

  • Still waiting on Bunnings

    • Bunnys has been slow this year with their price drops.

      • +1

        same, really want that blower!

  • Hmmm I don't think Bunnings is going to match this time around - they've normally done so a few days ahead so as to kind of 'block' folks from wanting to go the Aldi route - as once folks tend to buy one range's product they stick with it but this time as of writing this they're still at all their normal pricing online anyway.

    • Its a shame because i just bought my first products from them on the weekend and i was thinking of getting another battery. Definitely wont now.

    • Yeah - a bit disappointing. I was locked into the Ozito Power X range and use these Aldi specials to get the equivalent on the cheap at Bunnings.

For this sale I really want the cordless hedge trimmer, so I ended up buying an XFinity charger ($10) and 2 x 4Ah batteries ($25 each) from the bargain bin leftover from the sale a few weeks ago. Both my local Aldi's have a huge surplus.

Looks like I'm getting the Workzone hedge trimmer instead of the Ozito one. It's actually slightly more powerful and with slightly longer blades/shaft, so maybe a good thing. On the plus side, I'm no longer locked into Ozito…

      • Looking like a trip to Aldi tomorrow if Bunnings don't price match!

Was keen to get the Ozito cordless blower as I have an Ozito cordless drill, I'm not too invested in the cordless Ozito range and will prob switch to the XFinity range now.

        • same! with Bunnings dropping prices of other items to match Aldi, I doubt it's going to change. Unless they think this blower is similar https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-power-x-change-18v-worksho…

          Similar boat to you Twinnings!

          • @axtx: Nah, you and I can huff and puff harder than that thing. Bunnings have chosen not to match. INteresting - but I'm sure they've run some figures behind this before they changed practice.

  • +1

Bunnings just introduced a $99 Ozito table saw - 2000W, 254mm blade to compete with the $149 Aldi one. No stand, extensions or spare blades. Tempted…
