    Mine is Seagate. Drives are generally shuckable (not hard soldered to controller).

  These drives you can shuck, I have shucked mine to use in a PS4, they use Samsung Seagate Spinpoint, exact same drives can be found in here https://www.amazon.com.au/Seagate-Expansion-Portable-Drive-S… all shuckable

      Just run a plastic knife along the top rim of the cover there are 4 or 6 tabs can’t remember these will snap but don’t worry they can be put back in. The silver one (slim) is a little different

      There is a shielded silver cover over it, a controller connected to the drive and 4 tabs for the mount.

      Obviously all this from memory- shucked about 4 of these drives

  Manufacture date on it was 08/2018.
