  That was how much Bing Lee was selling the A9Master2X (eligible for free tool pack) before ebay 10% off. I ended up paying $620 inc shipping. But I paid with GCs I bought at 10% off.

  I don't really like it. They claim 40 mins battery life at the lowest setting. But the lowest setting is weak. You would want to use it on medium or max setting, which would make it comparable to a Dyson on its lower setting.

  The floor stand is meant to be either nailed into the wall or stuck with double sided tape (manual says it's not secure without doing so). The whole reason I wanted the floor stand was to avoid making permanent changes to the wall. I don't want holes in it. And the double sided tape is likely to strip off some paint when you remove it.

    During a Ebay 20% off sale I got the A9MULTI2X for $540 delivered from BingLee, no one would price match that offer.

    Never used a Dyson but the internal battery really put me off, I would have had to get the V10 to use it as the sole vacuum in our small house. Yes the lowest setting is abit weak, but there's two batteries so no issue even when the battery starts to get old and doesn't hold as much charge, you can swap it out when it's flat.

    The double sided tape is abit strange, but the base is very heavy and I've had no issues with it freestanding.

      Yes that is the advantage of the LG and Samsung sticks.

      The manual recommended either nailing to the wall or tape for security if using floor stand. I don't know how long it will last if you don't. It could give way at some point.

      Have the a9 master as well, no issues using the floor stand freestanding with a 2 year old in the house. It's not intended to be used as a primary vacuum only for spot cleaning as are all cordless stick vacs. Serves that purpose well.

  Simply go to any store and try. Compare this with Dyson and you will see the difference.

  Bought a a9 master 2x through bing lee ebay for 610 during boxing day sales (ebay 10 percent off) and stacked it with ebay gift cards. This aint a good deal
