  • Is ten play going to be replaced by this? Master chef and have you been paying attention were the only things worth watching imo

No. This is an ad free version with additional content

I used the 1 month free trial recently. Literally couldn't find a show I wanted to watch.

    • +12

That's why they increased it two two months, much more time to find something.

    • Nor could I. I watched a couple of eps of some Strange show but couldnt maintain interest. Nothing else was interesting. Maybe in a year or two.

Hmmmm… Maybe a sign that it is a major flop? CBS, try as it might, won't win any people charging the same amount as Netflix for some outdated shows.

IMHO the issue isn't outdated, it's that it just doesn't have much. CBS will struggle given that so many licences have already been snapped up but there were opportunities to play on Australian nostalgia with a one-stop-shop for that kind of content. Ten has a huge back catalogue of locally produced content for being live for 50 years. Where's all that?

        Round the Twist?

CBS are playing the long game.

All new CBS shows will go to Ten

      • What locally produced content from the last 50 years would you want?

        Genuinely curious

        • +1

          50,000 episodes of neighbours surely

        • Ten produced quite a few dramas in the 90s which I never saw. Also White Collar Blue which has never made it to DVD. Ten made a lot of commedies - ie the Comedy Company. Number 96 might be interesting for historical sake. Overall, they've got a lot of content in their archives and it would need a decent mix of it for me to be interested in paying them…at least long term.

  • I'd rather ads

I'd rather AIDS…the ability to re-watch such cancerous garbage as The Project, I'm a Total F**kwit Leave Me There or Blind Date? And pay for that dubious honour? Yeah, nah.

  • This hack isn't working anymore!

  • It worked for me today

    • it worked for me initially too, got a popup saying subscription till March and the expiry date in Account Settings changed to March too, but when I checked back a few days later it said it was due to end in Feb again
