Ladda : cheaper, higher capacity, and from Japan. Ladda all the way

      • I believe the IKEA LADDA's are re-branded Eneloop Pro's, so with higher capacity but less cycles (500 vs 2100 cycles for lower capacity standard Eneloops).
Cannot beat the price though (vs Eneloop Pro 4 pack).
        From IKEA AU site:
"WARNING! Keep batteries out of reach of children and pets. To swallow a battery could be fatal. If this happens seek medical attention at once.
You can recharge these batteries approx. 500 times."

  • The two you linked are AAA though. Where are the AA with the larger capacity, OP?

  • Catch is a way better deal for the AAA - $25/8pk (750mAh vs 800mAh is negligible if they are all going in remotes etc.)

    • Also both are 750mAh minimum. These just say 800 is average

IKEA LADDA batteries are clean skin Eneloop Pros. There is only one factory in Japan making these cells.

is this good or bad? ie which are you recommending friend?

Buy LADDA, way cheaper for equivalent to Eneloop Pro

      • Standard Eneloops have more cycles (2100) with slightly lower capacity (2000 mah).
        Eneloop Pro/IKEA Ladda (500 cycles, 2550 mah.)

Eneloop deals used to be everywhere and heavily upvoted. Now they're regarded as meh because of better value LADDA batteries. It's a huge dropoff in interest.

      Quite.

    • All common rechargeables bought in retail stores (Aldi, Coles, Woolworths, Bunnings) are of inferior quality, and will not last more than 200-300 cycles.
      Eneloop Pro - 500 cycles (2550mah)
      Eneloop (standard) - 2100 cycles (2000 mah)

  • I just bought 8 for $32 (one set left at that price but others on ebay come close). A pack of 4 is also cheaper on ebay.

  • 2000 Mah means 4th gen, so fresher stock than 1900mah Eneloops. These standard Eneloops are rated at 2100 Cycles (Pro is rated at 500 cycles).
Bought my first Eneloops ever, Pack of Standard Eneloop AA & AAA's before seeing this deal. Was just about to post this deal myself.
