  • That's a lot of wattage

    • At least its 80+ Titanium so still highly efficient at the lower power draw.

  • I remember paying $199 for a 750W 80 Plus Silver Corsair 5~ years ago…

  • I wonder what kind of behemoth you'd need to use this thing to it's full potential.

    • Two AMD cards at least.

Not something the average user requires.

It's the older model/design w/ 5 years warranty where the new variants & competing products now offer 10-12 years.

Miners would have gone crazy over this last year but that demand has now fizzled out.

Looks like these are issues, with this power supply…
Pity.. looked like a good buy otherwise..
    One to avoid….

    • random ac ripple at high loads

so in other words it would probably still be good for 1Kw or less?

I used these power supplies to power 6x GTX1070's for a crypto mining rig - they don't deliver on their 80+ rating.
It would end up rebooting somewhere between every 30 mins to every few hours.

I ended up returning it and getting 2x 750w power supplies which were more stable, but not perfect.

I think for non-marathon use, can probably do 1300w 80+, but not for an extended period of time like days or weeks.
