can I pay with my vacuum here? show me your hands of I'll vacuum your face off

    This is a good vacuum

  • Got one during the Indigogo campaign and it's been a great vacuum cleaner. The only downside is its small bin. I do find that I would be emptying it a coupole of times a week, when on average, the house gets a vacuum once every 2 days.

    • I am just waiting for the V10 to go on sales again, watched a few youtube reviews saying the Xiaomi Vac is better for hard floor, since carpets are main accumulation for dust, I think Dyson might be a better choice, but under $300, it is a good deal.

      • definitely a good handhold vacuum cleaner considering the price, very good comparison to Dyson v8 but fraction of the price, worth a try.

    • How much did you pay?

      • +1

Paid US$309, including delivery. Through the campaign, got an extra bag along with 5 extra filters from their stretch goals or posting about the campaign on my Facebook page.

I opened an account as soon as I saw the eBay Plus post but no code yet, has anyone got it?

    • I signed up to Ebay Plus too and also had no luck with the code.
Ebay Support suggests you have to wait for an email about the discount code, which I'm told is sent out within 48 hours of signing up to Plus

    • Got mine ~45 hrs after sign up

    • I signed up yesterday, never received any email regarding the 15% or a code. I tried placing an order today using the generic one from the original post and it worked fine. I think maybe it just takes 24 hours or so to activate.

    • Code work for me a day after sign up - about 20 hours after actually.

If you've already used free eBay plus you can still get it ~$306 for using this

  • Where can I buy replacement hepa filter for this? Mine has had a lot of work and needs replacing.

    • Aren't they washable? (According to this, they are.)

      • Has 2 filters. One washable foam filter and one hepa filter. Hepa filter is very fine and like a car air filter. Probably could wash but performance would be affected. Better to buy a new one as with car air filter.

So whee do we buy spare parts?

        • +1

Can purchase it via eBay if you search for "Roidmi F8 filter." The same filters can be purchased in AliExpress as well, but, considering our lower exchange rate, it's better purchasing it on eBay.

On a side note, I'm still using the first filter that came with my Roidmi F8. I have just washed it around three weeks ago, and have not noticed any sort of difference in suction or its ability to filter. Just as long as you dry it well (not direct sun light), and go light on your detergent (used a little bit of dishwashing soap), you'll be fine.

Price jacked. Now $399 before coupon.

    • I know. What a load of crap

      • +1

I messaged the store. Apparently previous price was a pricing error.

        • What a load of crap

  • +1

Fhew, managed to get one just before the price rise. Been waiting for the Roidmi to come down under $300.

    • Don't be surprised if they fail to honour it.

      • +1

Thankfully it's been shipped already. Sorry to hear you couldn't grab one mate :(

  • How crap! Wtf Jacked up prices, lost a sale guys.

  • What a pain the backside.

I've been waiting for a deal on one of these for months and then because the eBay code takes so long to activate, I've now missed out.

Is there any other stores that do deals on this model? At its current price, I may as well go and get a Dyson.

    • Dyson = better

  • Does any one know what the warranty process via Smartdot is? Just in case it stops working (you know, like everything now does).

I don't want to spend Dyson money, but I know that aftermarket support is pretty good for the ol' D.

  • Price has gone up again Lolllllll

Over $400 now! just wow guys
