  • How much are they normally?

  • Can you connect an Android phone to this (via usb-c) or is it just for Mac?

Bought a similar one in the past (almost the same just doesn't have PD), works fine on my Galaxy S8. Outputs to HDMI perfectly and worked with anything I plugged into the USB ports.

  • This work with Nintendo switch?

    • +1

Pretty sure you won't get video out of it.

  • How many watts can it pump out over PD? And what voltages?

    • -1

In theory it will probably accept/pass-through whatever the PSU you plug into it will provide.

The Chingrish states " 1 x Charging port: The charging speed is as quickly as the original charger; "

      • True, but on other brands, it will clearly say 60w or 100w etc.

    • The Zapals link above says 20V 3A so 60W?

    Samsung Dex with this?

    • +1

Got mine in mail today. Can confirms that Samsung Dex works to my surprise. Good buy if it drops in price again!

      • Can you please let me know what resolution it outputs in Samsung Dex mode?

  • +1

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks

Good price. I bought a VAVA as the Satechi are too expensive. The VAVA is fine, but it gets super warm.

Funny thing is that my biggest problem with my MBP '18 is the 89w Power Adapter. Sometimes it just stops working.

    • Same issue here. My Apple power adapter stops working … I need to unplug it and put it back in at the power to somehow reset it and it starts working again. No idea why. (and how do I miss the MagSafe)

      • Is VAVA the same product as this WIWU though?

        • Nope, around $59.

Dunno this brand, but it's a great price.

      • God. I thought it was just me.

        QC is dead.

    Thanks man - bought one!

    Thanks MMM

  • Great price!

  • Does this work with surface book 2?

    • +1

Should do, drivers are generic USB win10 and I think the Surface Book 2 has a USB 'C' port

  • Currently unavailable.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock

  • Not available anymore!??

  • dang it, too slow!

  • All goneeeeee

  • Does it output video by DisplayLink or TB3?

    • I think all these cheaper devices use USB-C alt-mode to do video out. So the USB-C port needs to support that mode in order for it to work, as the adapter's just passing the digital signal through. Don't think you'll ever find a TB3 device at this price point.

      • Well as long as the CPU doesn't need to compress the signal and decompress it later, which causes latency and artifacts like with streaming.

  • Bought them too, thank you. Pretty good price if the shielding is as good as it claims. I had a couple of USB-C to HDMI off eBay and the shielding is so poor it's unusable.
