  • This is an A/B Grade Factory Refurbished model, which may have some noticeable cosmetic blemishes and heavier signs of wear and tear.

Makes it a little tricky as to what condition you will get

    Well you can get a new local stock iPhone 8 for around $150 more, I would just go that;

Would agree with you, but I think its subjective as to how much $150 would worth to one.
Each to their own I would say.

      • if i ever have an urge to hold an iphone i will take the refub. 150 is a lot.

        • For some people it's the warranty of new vs refurb ….all depends on how much spare change you have.

Is refurb 12 mths or 2 years ?

    • It's also an expired deal and for the RED model only.

That expired 6 weeks ago and JB won't honour it, I tried last week for a friend. It's impossible to find a new 8 for under $950 at the moment, which makes this deal not too bad.

Personally ide want under $500 for a refurb iP8.

  • may as well spend the extra and get a brand new since you will most likely have to spend extra for a battery replacement.

    • Apple refurbs come with new battery.

      • this is not Apple refurbs, which have no sign of usage.

  • This is used. Nothing like Apple refurb.

    Refurbished iPhone 7 Plus 128GB - $569.00

Much better value, even though one gen behind.

    • that is USD i think… see above my post made the same mistake.
and we have iphone X so 7 is 2 gen behind?

      • Oh, bugger. Thanks. Apple really is expensive then.
Looks like there are currently no refurb iPhones from Apple AU, which is why google gave the US link.

Good thing I got the $399 6S+ Target deal :-)

  • I bought one, received in a week time, Hong Kong product, has a tiny sesame size dent on bottom corner, otherwise just like new. Battery healthy showing 95%.
Bought using Amex card, which gives smartphone screen protection for life.
Also got $63.55 GST back via TRS.

Overall, happy with the purchase, better value then 2nd hand units on ebay/gumtree.
    Thanks for sharing OP.
