Max 3. Thanks OP! There might be zero sugar, but this deal is super sweet.

  • +2

Looks like regular Coke for $9.60 here, if you don't like teeth.

    • +6

Even the sugarless varieties of Coke are extremely acidic and therefore still pretty terrible for your teeth

      • Use reusable straws

        • Even with straws I don't understand how it's possible to manage 0 contact with teeth. Surely some contact is inevitable?

          • +1

@josho9: The less the better tho

            • @Zilch: Correct - a straw is the recommended way of drinking things that are bad for your teeth. Basically it reduces contact.

    • Looks like it has now dropped in price. $8.52 now.

Ordered at $9.60 yesterday and ask for price match today. CS said there is no price match for Amazon AU and offered me $5 credit instead. Thanks OP! Wouldn't have noticed the price change if not for this post.

    • Nice work!

    • +1

Just return them, free returns ;)

  • N.B. $1.60 each at WW and Coles.

  • -2

hmmm, even though at $1.42, it might be a whole 18c cheaper than WW or Coles current price, I won't be ordering via Amazon.
Having a 'regular' delivery guy deliver fizzy drink, you never know how its been treated on its journey … if it has bounced around a bit and lost its fizz.

    • +4

Do you honestly think Coke is delivered to Woolworths or Coles and then placed on the shelves totally 'shake free'?

    • +1

It's sealed. No fizz is lost.

    • LOL ok.

    • +1

Carbonation is not lost while the bottle is still sealed.

If it could, the drink would be flat every time you buy it from the supermarket. After being shaken, after a period of time the CO2 will reach equilibrium in the container and be reabsorbed back into the liquid.

Is it really necessary to order coke from Amazon……? Just go to Coles or Woolies

    • Free delivery to door is the main reason.

    • Free Delivery plus 5% cashback. Yes sir.

      • End up picking up from post office, whilst doing a trip to colesworth, meaning extra stop and petrol and picking up in the end

    • Delivery is $5.99.

        not with PRIME

          Which costs money lol,

If you want to suffer from diabetes and have an early death, then sure go ahead. Coke is literally poison in a bottle.

    • +2

How? There's no sugar in it

      • There may be no sugar but it has other toxic chemicals.

        • +4

Prove it and you get trillions of dollars for compensation

          • -1

@Kawaii: We all know that sugar is a leading cause of diabetes and people still consume it. That said, the body still knows what to do with sugar molecules when it is consumed, so if you exercise etc then somewhat you will be ok.

However, recent research shows that the chemicals that give the 'No Sugar' foods an drinks the sweetened taste is something that the body does not recognise but in response to the sweet taste, the body releases insulin. The lack of sugar to be broken down by the insulin eventually over a period leads to Type 2 diabetes. This is but one of the many effects of the sugar free stuff. Then there is also the fact that they increase the risk of cancer and other serious illnesses.

All that said 'opens a can of coke and chugs it down' it still tastes pretty good during hot summer days… :)

  • Same price per bottle as Coles in VIC.
It's cheaper for some because Amazon is in VIC too. We don't have the refund scheme fee added.

  • Won't shop at woolies or coles anymore if i can avoid it…I aint carrying around groceries without any bags, too hard. Plastic bag ban has cut my spend with those supermarkets by about 80%.

Much easier to avoid the hassle and get it delivered to my door for free.
