[VIC] Additional 20% off Everything @ Catch (Pop-up Cadstone Store)

70

COTD Chadstone is closing on 31/1 and clearing out at 20%. I am sure there may be higher discount on last day but until then, some good bargains here.

  1. Polar crate (Insulated Esky) $19.99 from $49.00. I could find elsewhere for $30 but not $20.

  2. Quantum dishwasher tablets. 8 x 32 tablets for $63.20. About 24.68c per tablet. Very good price imho. Orig price $79.

  3. Mossimo kids cloth $4.

Worth a look me thinks

Looks like margins of selling junk is not enough to cover rental

When they first opened they always said they would shut down eventually. Its more of a brand or marketing exercise that went longer than expected.

I would be more interested of who is taking over that area as it has 2 more shops closed with no taking so far.

    • It always had a sign saying its a pop up store. Like many other pop up stores, they shut down. Pop-up stores are there to trial and see if the business will do well in that location and eventually close down. The closing down is not so much to do with rental costs..if they wanted a cheap location, they wouldnt go for Chadstone SC

Never realised why they tried to open a store when they don't even stock the range of items that they have on their website. They should just stick to what they do best and sell stuff online.

The shop looks like it is always busy everytime I visit and the way the shop was designed it was never going to be long term. They did however manage to extend into one area where all the clothings shoe wears are.

I think they were successful but as I said they told it was always going to close as it is a pop up store

  • Gee it looks like they barely lasted three months.

Not sure if this applies to somewhere as busy as chadstone, but some centres will offer incredibly cheap rent for a short period while they wait to get a longer term tenant locked in.

    • i reckon you're spot on. It was only supposed to be a pop-up store probably to cover several months between leases. From what i saw they seemed to have more foot traffic than i could have ever thought
