Fair enough! I got the Gold edition off Steam myself because that's where my other games are, I think I paid ~$40 USD for everything, but that was 2 years ago. Definitely worth it despite Uplay imo :)

I purchase this game at the end of 2018 for about the same price. It probably won't drop much more; newer Ubi games (Far Cry 3 and on) never seem to sell for less than $10 for the base game.
Sure! I don't really play PUBG all that much, but I don't mind giving it a go if you need someone haha, just give me a few days to download it. I play a bunch of other games such as CSGO, Overwatch, a few others. I'll PM you!

Uplay games become available for under $20 with all addons. Ubi had a recent sale that put Far Cry 4 and Primal at OK pricing. I picked them up via Greenman Gaming who were cheaper and also had an extra discount code for ubisoft.
I returned PUBG after 3 games on full servers. Games 2 and 3 I was the second last survivor, and as an average player it was obvious something was wrong, and the game was aimed at a much lower aged audience.
Best game ever for me, the variety, the open world, the story. Won't regret this game.
Did you like the 1st one? I gave up on that after a few hours, mechanics were off. Always up for a goo open worlder…
I preferred aspects of the 1st but the mechanics are better in this one. It plays better.

I can't seem to get the AU pricing you mention. Standard shows as $21.06 and Deluxe $21.33
