LG CordZero A9MASTER2X Stick Vacuum Cleaner $608.40 Delivered @ Bing Lee eBay

90
PELECTRO

My first post. I hope I'm doing it right.

Bought one of these recently but haven't opened it up yet. I have watched the price for several months and they don't seem to come cheaper than this.

Gets great reviews and has 2 batteries compared to the Dyson. Also looks much better ;)

Don't forget to use code 'PELECTRO' for the 20% off. Delivery is $10

Anyone have one of these and a Dyson and can comment on one vs the other?

    • And the Samsung too

    • They both suck (not necessarily a bad thing)

I have this and have had two Dysons, but not any of the V series.

I think the Dyson sucks better.

But this one has a second battery, and a floor stand (although their instructions involve drilling it to a wall still, which makes it of questionable use as a floor stand).

Worth mentioning that this one costs more than most Dysons.

I have a gripe with the LG's tube extension mechanism. There is a second, thinner and less secure tube under the main tube. It flexes when held. This LG stick is actually quite heavy and I find myself needing to support it with my off hand, holding it below the tube. That is where the second tube flexes when held. It's cheap plastic that I fear will eventually wear out. You'd never expect a tube to wear out.

I'm not unhappy with the vac, but I would suggest a Dyson V8 over it if it's the same price. And believe me, I am no fan of Dyson.

I was tossing up between this and the cheaper Samsung Power Stick Pro (it was $480 for EPP members). Eventually went with this one because of the extra battery, floor stand, and a promo that gives you 5 attachments. The floor stand is disappointing. The performance is not as good as Dyson. I kinda wish I went for the Samsung instead.

  • Was cheaper with the Domayne deal but good price for ppl without Amex.

  • The post says good reviews - I can’t seem to find one comparing it to the Dyson v10

    • It's hard to find reviews for this thing. It's new and obscure. The Dyson is the Apple of vacs. You have reviews galore, and a lot of sponsored reviews on Youtube.

  • Prefer the Dyson.

    Thanks OP.

lol, thanks I've added it now

  • have one, love it. exchangeable battery allows me to keep going..
best price historically, better than the last black friday when it was 628.

    • I wish I could comment on mine, but it's still yet to be opened. Waiting to move house. Good to hear you're happy with yours. I thought about the v10 for ages but this just seemed like a better option for the price.

  • Great price! Bought mine when it was $689 and have been very happy with it.
Scary how much stuff gets pulled out of our shag rugs.

    • Yes the LG did a better job on shag rugs than the V8 we had.

    • I have never heard of shag rugs. Personally I'm more of a bed or couch person.

  • I'm happy with my Dyson V7 for $299 on the black friday sale. I guess if you need longer running time then spend double the money.

    • Or buy two sticks.

I would have gone for two different brands just so I can try them both. There was an under $400 Samsung model for EPP members last year.

I have owned multiple Dysons (v35, v45, V6 and most recently the V8)

We sold our V8 because the battery was running out before we finished our rooms and the LG's dual batteries was attractive.

    (Comparison to V8)
First impressions was that the LG was not as powerful but I think I was mistaken as it is just not as noisy. After vacuuming a rug recently done by the V8 we got a lot more gunk out of it and this really impressed the wife who liked the Dyson and was sceptical.

    Things I liked:
    On/off instead of trigger
    2 batteries (big plus)
Stand to mount it on is cool
    Less jet engine noise
Main shaft can be made shorter but does feel bulkier

    Not as good:
Does not have a motorhead mini tool - only a mattress thumper

    Minor differences:
When turned off it returns to low setting (dyson has toggle switch control), made up for by not having a trigger
Smaller bin hasn't been a problem.
Dyson is harder to empty but cleans around the metal mesh filter. The V6 always used to get stuff stuck here but not a problem so far with LG.

Tldr: LG is as good as, if not better than, the V8. The dual batteries is a winner.

It definitely does feel not as noisy. But what setting do you have it on? I feel that the standard setting barely sucks anything. I use the mid because the highest drains power too quickly.

  • Rip to human wrists… Hopefully no carpel tunnel
