  • Why is one black one more expensive?

    • +2

The more expensive black includes a 0.3mm Tempered Glass Screen Protector.

  • Need to replace my Sharp Aquos S2 (son spilled coffee on it). Will this make me proud?

    • +2

      Probably son will? Phone…. Nah…

    • +1

I've never personally used the Aquis S2 but this Nokia has a rubbish camera. I feel the camera on my Nokia n8 from 8 years ago took a better shot.
(I'm currently using this phone atm)

      • Really???

        • +1

Yep, I've had the Xiaomi Note 4 and say it would be on par with that. My ZenFone 2 which was a comparable mid-tier phone from 2015 blows it away

    • +1

I got one for my son 6.1 from previous deal of Australian stock .$317 ..it's running pie, android one, is on Jan 2019 security patch has band 28 and NFC …very happy with it.

  • Any tax invoice for TRS?

  • NFC? NFI.

OK, I probably do have an idea…it's not mentioned in specs or features.

  • Does this model support band 28? Specs seem to suggest yes but frequency checker says no. Any idea?

  • This or 6.1 plus for an extra $50ish? also anybody has any experience with the store? how long is the shipping?

    • I ordered the Nokia 6.1 plus on the 20th Jan for $299, Toll says it is due for delivery today.
My reading of the reviews is they agreed the newer model was better overall.
It is a bit narrower, and looks more modern (if you want a notch).
I think the AndroidOne will mean the possibility of support for an extra version release of Android.

      • Thanks. I read on GSM Arena that the 6.1 plus doesn't have NFC. Is that right?

@s0144886: Or you could just say no.
Can't believe it doesn't when the older one does.

    • +1

Get the 6.1 …we have one and very happy ….

      • Yeah. I finally got one. :)

  • Is it au stock?

    • This is gery import because it doesn't come with handset and it doesn't say about warranty

    • TobyDeals is based in Hong Kong

  • Not a bad deal. I think I wait for a Pocophone deal under $400.

Looks like you can get $10 off with the code WELCOME10

I was tempted but not sure it's enough of an upgrade over my Moto G5 Plus 4/32

    • +1

As I have both Moto G5 Plus and Nokia 6.1 I would hang on and keep using your Moto as I still actually slightly prefer this over the Nokia, mainly for rounder smoother form factor and great battery life. Android 7 was getting bit old on it but getting Oreo has made it feel fresh again.

The Nokia 6.1 is a fantastic all round solid phone for below $320 ish., especially this great price, but unless you want latest Android One/Oreo/future major updates and monthly security updates, stick to the Moto for another six months or end of this year. Should get one or two more security updates on the Moto, so maybe up tothe life of the battery lol.

The proper model designation for this phone is Nokia 6.1. Why do people call it Nokia 6 (2018)?

  • If you want the 3GB/32GB model, it is $219 here, the 4gb ram probably won't be that noticeable, and you can expand the storage anyway..

    • +1

this looks like a better buy tbh

    • Extra $30 is fair and good value for 32GB more rom ( the 32GB model would only have around 20GB free after apps and os, so the 64GB model would give you close to 50GB free ), and an extra 1GB ram on top always helps.

    • What does "without handsfree" mean?

      • I emailed them to ask — it means there are no earphones included.

  • +1

    What does without handsfree mean?

  • Hi rep, can you pls confirm NFC, B28? Tnx.

  • Has a fingerprint on the screen, making you think its fingerprint scanner is under the screen but it's actually on the back.
