Hi all,

This is for a braided USB-A to USB-C cable that just works. Doesn't support newer QC but works just fine for my Sharp Aquos S2.

'Normal' price is $2.50 each, use code for 25% off. Up to 4 of these cables in a 125g large envelope which costs $2.50 in shipping. 4 x $2.50 x 0.75 + $2.50 = $10

No need to register for account - quick checkout via PayPal available.

Specs:
Weight: 25g
Charging Voltage: 5V/2.4A
Data Transfer: Up to 480Mbps
AWG: 26 (Power), 28 (Data)
OD: 3.0
Colour: Black
Length: 1 m

Has a 56k ohm resistor according to the supplier (but I do not have a Google Pixel or Chromebook or Nexus to check)

I know you guys are picky about cables, so I'm currently looking for a supplier of better USB-C cables…

Local shipping so low wait time compared to China :)

  • Anyone in Adelaide wants to share? Don't need 4 cables

    • +1

Don't need to order 4 cables at one time :)

Just that flat shipping of $2.50 for up to 4 cables, with each cable being ~$1.88.

Let me know if you are looking for any specific cables (lengths/colours/other) and I'll see whether I can get some on my next shipment from China :)

  • I'm guessing that these are fine for a Moto G6+. Yes I am new to USB-C.

    • +1

Yep these should be fine. According to GSMArena, the Moto G6+ supports up to 15W charging. This cable allows for up to 12W so it won't be the fastest, but it shouldn't be too slow either.

Although I can't personally confirm that this cable has a 56k ohm resistor, the supplier states that it does, and most problems with USB-A to USB-C cables seem to occur with Google products (Nexus, Chromebook, Pixel), so it should be fine to use with your phone.

      Cheers,

  • Thanks all, sold out of this batch for now.

Experienced some problems with Australia Post and their requirements for large letters to fall through a 2 cm gap without getting 'caught'. However, purchased some bigger sized padded bags and repacked orders. As such, most orders will be shipped tomorrow (1/2/2019) morning.

I will be sending an email to you guys when I have shipped the orders. Expect 2-3 business days as all AusPost shipments take.

    Thanks again,
    12Ghast
