Great price for a great set of speakers.

Cannot believe these speakers have been around now since 2010. Fantastic speakers, and a fantastic price. Well worth picking up a set if you're on the fence.

    • These are great speakers for the price, agreed. But the reason they are still present is simple: Australian market simply doesn't have the choices of the US market. If you are shopping for budget, 2.1 or 5 channel speakers the US market has way too many options but in Australia we literally have only these Logitech speakers. I had a pair of Altec Lancing speakers for 4 years in the US and the sound was amazing. Creative is known to make great speakers too. I'm glad Logitech has stuck with these.

Available nationwide or just Brisbane CBD store on Adelaide Street?

  • Awesome speakers…Bought'em for $95 from JB HIFI last year.

  • price matched at other OW?

  • Would these work OK in place of a soundbar for TV?

    • +1

Yes. I am using them as TV speaker and it works perfect

      • Same. There's no 3.5mm output on my tv, so got a cheap $9 spdif to 3.5mm converter from eBay and works perfectly. The sound on these things is unbelievable for the price.

Currently in adelaide st store, sales assistant won't change price as the ticket that says 95.20 is no longer there.

I would say that this is an expired price and that the sales person at the Brisbane CBD store didn't know that it was expired but applied it unknowingly about it. The OP got lucky.

Basically unfortunately this is now no deal.

  • Looks like Brisbane only just been into 2 stores on the Gold Coast and they won't match price.

  • Update I've just talked to the store and this deal was yesterday I been told and no longer at the discounted price .DAM

Ex retail worker here. This is called "Incorrect Shelf Edge Label" at Officeworks. OP got it at that price because Officeworks need to honor the advertised price. This happens when staff forget to update the price ticket after it changes. This is only valid in that store and is one-off for them who can find it. Even if you go to the same store again, the incorrect labels would have been taken off already.

    • That's how I got my XBOX one X for $250 in target ^_^

It was a great price… for the one person in Australia that got it (today).

Wish I'd have know about it yesterday, oh well.

Every time I see these speakers pop up on OzB, I am instantly reminded of this Brodenesque effort from a previous deal.

  • i bought my pair for 95$!…. 4 years ago

  • If only these had a sub jack for my Yamaha soundbar. Looking for a cheap external subwoofer option ..

  • are these typical pc gamer all bass no actual sound quality spec speakers

There is a bass adjustment knob on the speaker, I've turned the bass down slightly and they sound great. So far just tried Netflix (the speakers didn't fix the quiet speaking and loud sound effects, I just think thats how movie sound is mixed now) and and playing GTA V, very happy
