    • The plane doesn't land, so you never go there, just fly above it. By that reasoning, i've been to many many countries. Only my passport doesn't reflect that.

Hi everyone, if any of you see any Antarctica related deals, please post the deals, many ppl (including me) wanting to go. Much appreciated!

    • Get a job down there like I did

      • What job bro??

Many to pick from, engineer, chef, doctor, plumber, electrician, builder, science assistant, weather observation etc, most on about AU$120,000 plus lifetime experience

          • @UberIsCool: How do I get a job there, any networking events I should attend?

            • @Yaren24: Not really, just apply online with the AAD

              • @UberIsCool: I just don't have enough experience for these positions, really want to work there though.

@Yaren24: There are some "unskilled" positions too. You could also check out the US Antarctic program - I believe they accept non-US citizens now. I wintered at the South Pole. In the summer they have plenty of DA's (dining assistants) in the galley helping the cooks and cleaning etc.

                  • @Cliche Guevara: Thanks man, I will have a look at different options, so keen to go and work there, there seems to be very high standards as well.

Guys on Youtube say that the edge of the (flat) Earth is in Antarctica.
All y'all who say you've been: how much hush money were you paid to not expose the NASA cover up?

LOL So the hunt is on for how many countries you can fly over and take a selfie stating in your social media account what country you have visited :)
I did better one time 2 hrs in Anchorage transit , never crossed my mind to take a selfie . Bad me .

Suggest the fine folk that enjoy this , take a shot beside the map tracker found on most aircraft . Whatever you do make sure this is on your flight . :)
