So does this mean its going to be $179 at Telstra in a couple of days time?

    • I came into this bargain hoping to post a similar witty comment like that. You beat me to it.

  • What makes this old-school-looking phone that expensive?

    • This old-school-looking phone is actually only released last year. Blackberries are always that lackluster in hardware. This is probably one of the few low end blackberry 3g devices around.

So EXPENSIVE!!! How about bringing it down to 99? Wink Wink

are you referring to the reduced price of $249 or the ridiculous RRP of $679??! for 679 buckaroos i could buy a 2nd hand iphone, an android tablet and still have money left over for a lcd tv/stereo system!

      • BOTH! XD Hell no am I ever going to buy that thing for 249 bucks, let alone 679. They must think we're so dumb.

        Dear Unique Mobiles:

Please try to make your phones cheaper, ALOT cheaper and then post them back up on here. If you can't do that, then your better off advertising sumwhere else. Thanks.

Hi Tscott, Please understand that different offers appeal to different customers, If the deal is a genuine saving and cheaper than the market offers elsewhere I think its a great opportunity and place to give buyers an opportunity to save. Unfortunately in our market its not possible to do " ALOT " cheaper. We try to provide a variety of offers to suit everyone. Cheers

I almost fell off my chair laughing at the retarded RRP.

  • A friend of mine has this phone and really doesn't like it. She used to have one of the traditional designed Blackberry and really doesn't like this one.

How come Galaxy tab is so expensive when testra and JB selling it for $299.00?

    • They probably cant match up because its "below cost price".

  • +1

    Still too expensive I'm afraid!

  • +1

i would say unique mobiles customer service is great. Prompt refund given for the last offer of galaxy tab. Really appreaciated that. I think they shld get some credit for that

  • Not sure why everyone's having a cow about this one - as per shopbot this is $30+ cheaper than any other retailer (and some are selling it for $645…) - so it's a bargain. +1 from me.

I used to have one of these phones from Optus like around early last year (our company provided us with it). But they soon replaced it with the iPhone 4 around August (we had another choice, a blackberry but most of us went for the iPhone) =D. AND, optus doesn't even sell these anymore under their business mobile phones, so its OLD stock. LOLROFLMAO

  • Is there any cheap blackberry prepaid/plan?
