    EDIT: Jeez, I didn't see that in OP, never mind me…

    these look ok for $60 delivered

  • I didn't find these comfortable. Had to return them

  • I wear 890's.

    Anyone else a newbalance nerd and compared both?

    I was upset when the 1090's got discontinued.

    Edit;
    Just went and looked them up.
    No-Sew and an 8mm drop… thats a pretty neat shoe!

    I prefer a bigger drop.
    Nike free 5.0 had a 9mm drop, and 3m
    .0 had an 11mm.

    But 8 isnt bad if you want an ALMOST natural shoe.

      what you mean by 8mm drop? i'm no shoe expert :-)

      • +1

        I believe this means the forefoot sits 8mm lower than the heel.

        • Never have I heard people talk about “drop” in shoes or read anything on it when I go buy shoes

          • @MuddyClear: If you read online shoe reviews by running enthusiasts if will often be mentioned. Different values suit different running styles, depending on how your foot lands when you run.

  • Wearing these now. New Balance is a godsend for me and my fat/wide footed brethren. These are pretty comfortable. Nothing so far has compared to the 624's for me though. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
