Not exactly, closer to half of that.

        • Cooking area: 6900 cm2 (93 cm diameter)

          • @kaboomxyu: Fair enough. I was thinking of square meter which would be 10000 cm2

  • I thought it was a pricing mistake, you know, opposite of Kogan..

I'd rather a Kamado Joe for this price

    • this is still way bigger diameter than a big joe

But yes, i'll stick with my KJ Classic ;)

I had a boss that would occasionally cook us lunch on one of these. It fed 50 - 60 of us with sides. While it can feed a lot of people it's not worth it's price tag IMO.

Will need to keep an eye out during hardwaste collection for one of these ….never a shortage of BBQs, and all you need is a divorce, angry wife, and it's on the nature strip.

$2k for a pit to hold and burn charcoal

They forgot to stamp on an apple logo on it and call it iRanchBBQ X

No need to thank me. Just PM me for my marketing rates and bank details

  • Let's just appreciate the fact that several thousand people out there will actually pay for this.
Then again here we are buying $2K phones.
You'd buy the $2K BBQ once every 5-10 years. $2K in 10 yrs.
Many buy new $2K phones every 1-2 years. $20K in 10 yrs.
Ok, people who buy this BBQ are way more thrifty lol

Webers have a 10 year warranty but they far exceed that lasting upto 40 years. they are incredibly durable. and parts are available directly via Weber themselves without any BS brand markup

      • Oh dont worry they factor in the markup

Many buy new $2K phones every 1-2 years. $20K in 10 yrs.

That's not how it works. $2k phones have high resale value when sold in 1-2 years time.

      • calm down I was being sarcastic

        • Phone stanning…serious business!

    LOL

  • Normal size versions are often free on the side of the road. Go get a few. Job done, free.

    • I do appreciate the partial sarcasm in this, and for a traditional BBQ to cook some snaggas in using a $20 gumtree job!

The main advantage with these ceramic lined ones is that they keep heat in and have a much more consistent temperature profile for slow cooking and smoking. Would I spend $2k? haha no.

  • What a beautiful beast

  • Wow! Imagine the margins on this thing.
