      If it's web interface is like it's 1080p sibling then you don't need an external program, Settings->Advanced->Auto snap allows you to set timed snapshots saving them to uSD and/or FTP, (at independent intervals).

      Have a look at the other thread anyway since there's some useful info in it.

  Can someone advise why they might buy this over say the Xiaomi Dafang? The Dafang has better specs and is cheaper at LITB so just curious if this has an advantage or if this is an actual deal.

    A lot of people report problems with the defang when they modify the firmware to not be locked to the cloud.

    This camera works with anything out of the box so you shouldn't have problems.

      Also, can't speak for the 720p version of the Genbolt but the 1080p version image was far better than the Dafang I have, (it's colours were non-realistic).

      BTW, the code above also deducts 10% from the 1080p version.
