that is a good deal if you need it grab it. just stay away from the dewalt 887 impact driver, it has a issue with over hearting and smoking. one instance even smoking from the battery pack. search dewalt 887 smoking on youtube. or search for the channel vcg construction. they habe gone thru 4 of them. sorry to stray away from topic. but that price is a steal grab it. i would bit im already in the milwaukee platform using gen 3

    • Have you any issue with the 887? Just wondering whether dewalt have corrected the issue.

    • 887 was included in dewalt Black Friday limited pack. $279 with DCD796 brushless hammer drill. I still see this pack on sale in Bunnings.

    • I have one, haven’t had any issues (but DIY use only)

  • was typing on phone and have big fingers, sorry for the spelling.

  • dewalt in recent weeks have issued a recall on drills. although they did not mention which models. but what i find funny is now dewalt has start selling in the united states the 887 made in mexico. up until now its always been made in the united states with global materials. is it because they know all the ones made in the U.S are junk and the batch made in mexico are ok? i cant be forsure myself the reason for this.

  • DeWalt are a good brand, but I prefer the Ozito - its half the price and has a 5 year replacement warranty.
Ozito isnt as good quality, but with that warranty I can buy 2 if not 3 Ozitos over 15 years for the cost of one DeWalt.

With the DeWalt, if it needs a warranty claim they will try to repair it - and you'll be without it for weeks if not months while they do so.

Ozito replaced on the spot in store.

Only XU1 and Ozito have replacement warranties at Bunnings as far as I know.

I believe Ryobi and Makita are no longer replacement warranties but could be mistaken…

Also once you buy into a set like this, you find that you are encouraged to buy DeWalt matching tools to use your batteries. DeWalt are expensive.

Also there is a bonus battery via online redemption with a lot of DeWalt gear right now

How much capacity does each battery in this kit have?

    • Says 3.0Ah on the box

You cant compare ozito impact drivers to the likes of milwaukee, dewalt, aeg, makita, etc… They're more expensive for a reason. They are much more powerful and will last much longer than an ozito.

  • I bought this set about a year ago for $399
