  are these bars made for the australian market or are they imported from somewhere else?

  The imported bars can be had for $1 loose in many different places, making this not a deal at all.

    These are the EXACT same bars that are for sale in the major supermarkets.

    Dove bars that are sold in Australia are exclusively made in Germany, and have the ANZ Unilever contact details and address on them.

    They come from the very same factory.

    You are correct - these are on special from time to time at Aldi. Are they on special now? The last time they were on special at Aldi for this price - they all sold out at around 11 am…..

    As far as Crazy Clarks goes - I cant find a catalogue online that has them advertised - but again - if you aren't near a Crazy Clarks…… Also - are the ones you say are the same at Crazy Clarks German made? Or Brazilian?

    Just saying - it would be nice to compare like with like :)

      And that would be all us ozbargainers buying them at Aldi before 11am on a Thursday.

      Still, am tempted by the prospect of not having to queue up at Aldi for a couple of years by paying the $8 shipping… but probably not tempted enough.

  Also skeptical here.

  You say the 'usual' price is $106 for 48.

  That makes them orginally $2.20.8?

  I didn't know shops sold them for $2 and 20.8 cents. Even rounding up to $2.21 is stupid.

    The RRP is $4.99 for a twin pack.

    I have been around OzBargainers long enough to not quote RRP but to quote an available online price.

    So as far as i can tell we UNDERQUOTED a price - so you actually save more.
