$299 - if this thing works well then that is truly awesome!

I don't know, things are cheap for a reasons. I think spend some more money and get something that will last a bit longer.

reviews from anonymous productreview.com.au site state that it appears to work well though minor issues- rubber seal broke, machine found to be dented when unpacked.

If I had room in my kitchen for a dish washer then I would go for this one.

$299 for a dishwasher is a bargain compared to the one that came with my marriage certificate.
mine is noisy, and costs a fortune to run.

Mine too…..keeps on giving me crap which goes on and on and on and on!!
But generally does a pretty good job up to now! Can't complain.

      • This is no place for blokes to bagg their wifes…geesh guys. But other than that, 299 for a dishwasher is a VERY good bargain. I wonder, do we have to arrange our own transport if we bought it? Or can ALDI deliver it too? hmmm And, what if it decides to break down a few months down the track? I can't see why anyone would be bothered to lugg it back to aldi in their car and ask for a fix. =S

Your wife is looking over your shoulder eh?

Ahahaha, no BUT…I am looking for a dishwasher which does its job and isn't too fussy at what I put into it. Don't think wrong here!

          unlike your wife? :)

She would probably be less noisy if you bought her this. :) Or chipped in with the chores.

    • Yeah, but at least yours actually washes the dishes

Was looking for the SamSung Dishwasher around $500, now I may buy this instead.

This is identical to one at Bunnings, which is $399.

I own it and it is FANTASTIC. Really effiecient and feels like good quality.

    • Bought one yesterday.
Look that same inside and outside (except the electronics) as the Conia one I am replacing (got it 4 year ago from Kmart, jumped all my fuses all in a sudden).
Hope it last another 4 years.

  • I'm in the market for a dishwasher ATM.. Just wish there was an Aldi where I lived… Good deal

  • I'm after a washing machine, can I buy this one instead? Is it water efficient?

    • Referring to the water ratings. Yes. It rated 4 out of 5 stars for water efficiency. (And 2.5 out of 5 stars for energy efficiency) =)

    • No. WAIT…This is not a washing machine. It is a dishwasher, to wash your dishes with. =P

  • I bought one in store 5 mins after 9am opening the day the special came on (Thurs 5May11). After me there was only one left on the floor. I saw about four go out the door in trolleys in front of me. There had probably been 8 on the palette in the store. Don't know if there was more stock out the back. I got white. Don't know if there was a silver option this time. So far it is all easy - put in place OK and no issues on its first run.

    • wow seems VERY popular
