Same spec with 1950X: $3249.00
Link: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192831061693

Take a look through the store for other 20% deals (up to $300 discount): https://www.ebay.com.au/str/techfastaustralia

Order times are at approximately 3 working weeks currently, being realistic.

There is a good chance we'll be involved in RTX Free Game promotions going forward, but codes are strictly limited from the provider, and due to the high volume of systems I cannot guarantee games will be provided, therefore I'm not including it on the listing. But, we will likely have some - think of it as a potential bonus on an already good deal.

Cheers
Luke

Any deals on the Ryzen 5 2600 RX 580 System?

    • +2

That falls under the 20% off here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192783756535

      • That's tempting - especially with the upgrade options for ram/ssd/gpu and the discount makes it only marginally higher.

Would you recommend the RX 580 or the nvidia 1060? (considering upgrade on that too)

  • Pictures and specs on ebay listing are different to the title.

    • Thanks. The image should update - I changed it to a bundle pic after posting here. Which spec is different (other than 2070 banner which has been removed)?

  • Ryzen Threadripper 1920X / RTX 2080Ti 11GB / 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 / 240GB SSD / 850W 80+ Gold PSU / X399 MB: $2,699 Delivered

    Base Specifications:
Graphics Card: Single RTX 2080 8GB Graphics Card

    Is it a 2080Ti 11GB or 2080 8GB?

    • +2

      Fixed, thanks. It's the 2080Ti 11GB

      • +1

Also should be updated to $2799 on this post (unless I'm doing it wrong on eBay, I get $2799).

        • You're right!

  • +1

Based on various other deals turnaround is more likely to be 2 - 3 months.

    • Should come with a sunset clause.

    • +1

I ordered from them mid Jan and it arrived today. Rep, op for this deal, is reallyUp front about order situation and happy to answer questions in via dm through ozb.

It was meant to be a week ago, but that wasn't hidden from me after I asked the order status a few weeks ago. Obviously ymmv, but for the price an extra week isn't a deal breaker, def not in the long run.

Hey guys, any response to this yet? I may be keen to buy but would like assurance of the company I am dealing with for warranty purposes.

    • +1

I can vouch for Luke/Techfast. They are very good to work with and he helped me with a mix up on my order etc (which required warranty return that techfast paid for). Most people are skeptical of the business because they are that much lower in price than say, MSY.. But they are legitimate in their sale and do look after customers.

      • +1

Good to hear, which ABN did they put on the invoice?

    • +4

Rep is replying to others but not you. Nor did he reply to me or others with the same question last thread. I'd be weary of dealing with someone who avoids such a simple request. Unless you don't care about warranty/after sales support. If that's the case why not just buy grey import?

      • +2

Yep not sure why he is dodging this question. This is the third time I've asked.

        • To update - I received a PM from techfast:

Anyway, yes our ABN is 86 603 436 808. Of course we pay tax … any issues with an order has of course been refunded in full.

We don't try to hide the fact that sometimes mistakes occur - we're a young and rapidly growing business, but I am fully committed to fixing any muckups - countless people can and have been attesting to that on our posts.

          • @exc3113nce: Rip my post, lol.

As a side note…people did people here not know you could search up a company to find their ABN? Took me about 5 mins to find it.

    • +2

Searched up the name. This seems to be it.

      ABN 86 603 436 808

Is on the ABN site under techfast Asia (oceana? Something like that). Area code (5009) matches up with their business location (saw this after signing up for the email listing).

Would grab the 1950x if you guys build one with the parts from the brands I request.. I just dont feel comfortable with some brands in there, especially for the graphics cards.

    • Also have the same concern.

      • Yeah been reading online and not all are built the same, some have serious overheating issues.

  • +1

Wow definitly getting the 2600 2060, get paid on sunday tho, is the deal still going to be around? Would slap myself if I miss it

    • Yep, ends on the 25th.

  • +1

    Any deal with i5 8400 + 2080?

    • Intel still too hard to get to do a deal on

  • Can these stems install Linux?

    • They come with windows 10 home version installed on the SSD with no activation key.

Easy enough to have a Linux install on a USB and bit from that USB yo install the version of Linux you want

  • Hi Luke, any chance of some repeat deals like the Ryzen 7 on this deal??? Link

I really want to get a new PC now, but I guess I will have to be patient if there is nothing available.

  • what psu does techfast use for their builds?

    • 550W and 750W are Allied, 850W 80+ Gold (available through PC Upgrades or in Threadripper/2080Ti builds is Thermaltake or Corsair.

  • sooo according to the australian business register their ABN was Active from 14 Aug 2018.. but they've been trading on Ebay for over a year…. hmmmm

  • Would jump on the 2.8k system straight away if only was with i7 9700k, I mainly use adobe premiere and TR performance was really underwhelming with it so have to stick to intel.

  • +1

Wonder what 2080TI they will be using for the different builds

    • +1

We have Galax 2080Ti in stock as of right now. They are our major partner.

  • Can I ask what keyboard and mouse it comes with?
Doesn't seem to show on the specs list

  • "Order times are at approximately 3 working weeks currently, being realistic."

realistic is 8 working weeks, for my case.

    • Can you please PM me your order details so I can look into it for you?

      • that's alright I received my system in good condition, but only after 8 weeks of wait.

        • +1

I'm at three weeks now, so sent a message this morning to see how it was going and got the reply below. Having no estimate is concerning… I really hope it's not going to be 8 weeks!!

Currently Your system is still in the processes of being built. We are working our way through the backlog of orders we've received from the busy season and are currently working our way through our early February orders.

Unfortunately We're also recovering from unexpectedly encountered supplier closures and associated delays with deliveries. This is most prominent with the RTX 2080 GPUs. Currently Manufactures are in the process of building and sending out GPU's due to the severely high demand and low stock nationwide.

This situation saddens us greatly as we pride ourselves on excellent customer satisfaction. I deeply apologize for how this has affected your order.

Because of these I'm not confident in giving an estimated date to your system, I can promise that we are working as fast as possible while maintaining our quality control high level of standards to ensure you won't have any issue and that everything will be perfect for you on arrival.

          • +2

@Evil-Elmo: I ordered the Ryzen 5 2600 with RX580 + 24" monitor 3 weeks ago and also checked status. Got similar reply with no ETA.

I apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience in regards of your system.

            • @Mightydealer: I ordered ryzen 5 gtx2080 3 weeks ago and got a similar response last week.
Just sent them another message asking for an update

              • @S7iCkSt3R: Hoorah

We would be hoping for your system to be ready either early to mid next week. I understand if this causes disappointment and frustrations. We are currently working hard to ensure we can get as many systems as we can out as quick as possible.

                • @S7iCkSt3R: They hoped but didn't come to fruition. Still waiting…
