Booked last time this month for a Gold Coast trip on a flash sale, they cancelled their flight on the day before flight due to “mechanical maintenance”
Had to buy Jetstar ticket spending 3 times more :/

    • price match with jetstar next time

Unless you really need to save the extra $ its worth buying Jetstar…
Stopped flying Tiger for the above reasons and its extremely common for flights to be delayed, cancelled etc.
Theres a few airlines ill never fly, this is one of them

    • I have the exact opposite experience, had 2x flights cancelled from BRI —> SYD with Jetstar, in the space of 3-4 weeks…

I prefer Tiger as i found them more reliable, just ruthless if u check-in late, typical budget airline practice…

  • No deal there, I got my tickets for $85 dollars each for Brisbane to Darwin, charging $98 dollars Today, if they charge it for $70 dollars would of been better but I guess it all about depending when your buying the tickets, for those periods as well.

yeah, there is always going to be "sales" and then there are "sales".

3 years ago I got my Darwin tickets for $70 return during one sale….

I bought mine just over $5. $10 each way for 2 tickets

        • Damn, that's awesome

It seems to me that even JetStar has better sales than Tiger these days.

  • Cancelled 1 in 10 flights last month.

Just don’t expect to get there within a certain time or date.

  • I can still remember flying Jetstar Brisbane to Sydney for $16.56 all inclusive
