      I have no problems syncing my data with other apps, such as Google Fit and MyFitnessPal. They probably scrapped this idea due to backlash.

        Interesting. I looked up MyFitnessPal and there wasn't a mention of Samsung.

        Not sure how long youve been using myfitnesspal but it got hacked last year I think, just FYI. So if you used your email and the same password you normally use, you may be vulnerable. Consider changing your passwords if you think you may have been impacted.

      The new Galaxy Watch is a bit more expensive, but comes in a gold model targetted towards women. Otherwise, there are some nice Fossil or Skagen smartwatches around.

      Take a look at the Fossil smart watches. They're not power-houses, but they're perfectly functional and look nice.

      My girlfriend has the gear s3 classic. its a bit more feminine than the frontier and she has a third party band on it (was only $15 or something) that she is super happy with. There is a super large variety of bands on sites like ebay.
      She loves that it looks like a normal watch, so it isnt an obvious smartwatch like an apple watch is (works in a corporate environment).

    I wouldn't buy this watch. I bought it on release and a year and a half later and the battery just barely lasts a day, thats with no bluetooth, heart rate monitor, location or anything on.

    When I first bought the watch and had it connected to my phone and had all the bells and whistles on like heart rate, etc, etc it would last up to 4 days on a single charge…

      Mine has never lasted longer than two days and still almost manages two full days more than 18 months after buying it. It’s a steal at this price.

      Upgrade to Tyzen4, then reset your watch. Mine easily does a day and half with AOD, everything on. I don't install crap stuff to it though.

      Fine by me - 18 months is about expected lifetime for a $270 smart watch.

      By then, hopefully wearOS is actually good.
