[WA] ID-COOLING Liquid CPU Cooler Range $69 + Receive $50 PLE Gift Card @ PLE Computers

170

First post here so apologise if deal is against rules.

https://www.ple.com.au/Products/634774/ID-Cooling-AIO-Gift-V…

Got an email from PLE with the details laid out above. The ID-COOLING AiO CPU Cooler range is priced between $69 and $189. I believe these are RRP.

If purchased through the link provided you get a $50 PLE Gift Card that's valid for 36 months.

Seems like a good deal especially if you're a PC gamer as these liquid coolers are great for keeping temperatures low while over clocking your CPU.

As far as I can tell the Gift card is only valid for people in WA, but if I'm wrong feel free to comment and I'll edit the post.

Also please comment if there's anything I need to change in this deal to improve it or make it clearer.

Hopefully this helps someone, enjoy!

    • Hey there, if you click on Go To Deal under the picture it'll send you there. But I added it anyway. Thanks boss.

      • When you posted initially it was just your screenshot, not the link itself. A mod fixed it for you

Probably want to include this link somewhere in the OP (or in the deal link instead) to make it easier to find:

    Edit - beaten by 14 seconds 😂😂

  • Damn wish there was a 280mm option

Click the drop down and change it to their 280 model?

      • ah cool, must have missed it.

  • Any reviews on these?

Guys, save yourself install effort (and presumably shitty software that's required to work it) and get a Noctua NH-D15 provided you have the case too fit it. It's only 2 degrees off the best AIO while being a lot quieter and it works like an air cooler without software. There is no AIO that beats it for noise vs performance.

    And it's $120 normal price.

If you can't fit it Noctua smaller offerings are also great but presumably (I haven't checked) aren't beating AIO.

Gigantic, looks hideous and costs 70 dollars more than the liquid cooler OP listed.

      No thankyou.

Noctua and Id cooling are like Tesla compared to Hyundai. Same function, different technologies. Yes they both run well but you need to justify what they bring you in the real life

        • So no one should ever buy anything but a Tesla then? Please there a big enough difference in needs not to write these off - and not certainly not at this price (for this deal if you're likely to use the voucher). If you're a die hard gamer then yes you won't consider this cooler, but for 90% of people these are absolutely fine and likely more compatible vs case sizes and airflow configurations.

The 120mm Aura flow is 3 degrees hotter and is more noisy. Also ID Cooling warranty is meh compared to Corsair or Noctua so if it leaks you're done. Corsair is known to most of the time even cover leak dmg, so you can replace your $400 cpu or $1,000+ GPU. Good luck if your $50 saving ended up frying your CPU. Noctua doesn't deal in clc so they obviously can't leak.

So depends on what you want, yes it is an actual option.

  • I'd rather them just give the cooler for $19 instead of giving us a gift card to use in another purchase. Dunno how much of a bargain it truly is.

    • I agree, just thought it may be useful if someone is building a pc as they can use the gift card for something else (e.g a hard drive) and get the cooler for essentially $19.

  • Is it expired? It looks ok on website. And is the gift card only for WA? I haven't found this info.

    • It looks like it's still working to me too (it said it expired 2 March 2019 at 11:59pm aest). Weird.

In regards to the WA only I stated, follow this -

1… Go to the link and it'll come up as this:

      ID-Cooling AIO Gift Voucher Promotion
      SKU IDCAIOGVP
All In One Cooler 1 ID-COOLING AuraFlow 120 SNOW RGB AIO CPU Liquid Cooler
$50 Gift Voucher 1 PLE - Gift Voucher (Expires 36 months from purchase date)
Discount 1 PLE Bundle Promo Discount

2… Click on the "$50 gift card" option and a drop down will appear.

3… In the drop down there's a little map of Australia showing 'Availability'.

4… On my screen only WA is highlighted in green, the rest is shaded in grey.

I take that as meaning only WA will receive the gift card but I am uncertain.

      Hope this helps dude
