  Yeah I've had this product (paid slightly less via eBay sale about a year ago). Its a bit limited in that you can't turn off the IR alerts per camera, and the motion detection masking is a bit iffy. Also one of my cameras was faulty and would give alerts all night long. So I sent it back because of that, but it also wasn't fit for my application without being able to choose one camera to do the alerts. Of course the retailer said there was "no fault found", but luckily it was via eBay and I won the dispute.

  I now use Uniden standalone cameras and they are pretty good. They aren't exposed as IP cameras though so you are forced to use them with the crappy uniden mobile app.

    So does that mean that these ones are able to use third party IP camera viewing software?

      nope. uniden likes to keep all their crap locked down. I only got them because they were cheap and seem to be robust and handle our summer heat ok.

        Damn… Yeah, I've got one standalone AppCam. And it's alright… but the app is terrible, but there's no other option. Also means no integration with Home Assistant…
