  • I use Castrol Edge 5w-30 on my 2004 Nissan 350z. Anyone with some knowledge able to tell me if I can use this in my car?

    • Just use the Castrol edge since it’s designed for petrol engines, this has ACEA c3 which is for Diesel engines. The castrol is also cheaper when you wait for the sales making it $30 for 5l

You should be using 5w-40 at this stage of the cars life, VQ's are notorious for oil burn around 100,000k's. Full synthetic is also a great help for longevity if you like to rev her out every so often :P
(Ex nissan mechanic, Owned 4 cars with vq's and am currently building one motor from scratch so hopefully i know what I'm talking about hahaha)
