I think both the P7 and P8 have some systemic issues. I bought the P7 last year and after a month it would not switch on unless you had to physically turn the power off at the plug. Hisense tried to fix it and then replaced it with a P8. After two months …same thing. Hopefully the issue is fixed in the upcoming P9.

  P7, P8 and P9 are all current models. The old model was N7, N8, N9. Do you mean you had a faulty N7 replaced with a P7?

  My 55N7 does the same thing. Sometimes it won’t turn on even after unplugging. Problem is it doesn’t do it all the time so I haven’t attempted to return it.

  i've got a 65N7 and a 75N7. happen to me a fair few times on the 65N7, and about 3 times on the 75N7 within 1 year. haven't used the 65N7 since i got the 75N7.
  how often was the problem occurring for you and did it take much to get a replacement?

Sorry I meant to say i got it swapped from 75N7 to 75P7.
