        • Would suggest watching “The Boys of St Vincent” if you are religious minded

        • Another good title is "Show and Pell"

What other free videos exist on Youtube? Are there many?

    • +10

Apologies if I'm taking your comment too seriously, but if you are actually looking for a good selection of music videos on YT I find musictonic to be really good.

    • +1

      I love you

    • +2

Youtube is pretty good at taking them down with automated algorithms and quick responses to copyright claims.

    • +1

Sadly this is the only one

  • +18

Did you know: Michael Jackson had so much plastic surgery that doctors didn't know whether to cremate or recycle him.

    • why did this make me laugh so much

    • Cheeky…

        Nosey

Did notice this last night, was thinking it was unusual.

    • +4

His family released this to steer news away from the Finding Neverland documentary that dropped this week.

      • +6

Hey! Leave Johnny Depp out of this!

    • +12

Hitler was a great artist, maybe he did not like a certain type of people but his art and his career has nothing to do with that. His fans love his art, so whatever "declining" fanbase there is doesn't matter.

obviously I'm not saying MJ is as bad as hitler, but I can completely understand those who cant listen to one of his songs knowing theres a pretty high chance he screwed little kids

      • +3

But Hitler wasn’t a great artist. Bad comparison.

      • +1

Carravagio, Benvenuto Cellini, Richard Dadd, Charles Bronson were all accomplished artists who were also repeatedly violent, murderers. Picasso was a huge thief, there are numerous artists in history guilty of sex crimes including paedophilia.

I don't think the issue is whether MJ's work has any artistic merit, but in light of his allegedly criminal life, MJ and his estate should not be allowed to profit from it any further. This effort from the estate is directly intended to cover up public awareness of his crimes, and protect that profit.

    • +1

All good for you to say but you may have different thoughts if it happened to you or a loved one.

      • +2

umm he was never found guilty of any crime or was there ever much proof besides people who in the end took money. I dont know about you, but if it was me or my family, i would NEVER take money over prosecution. As well as other people grown up now who were kids and spent time with him that said nothing ever happened….

All I am saying is its easy to go after someone who is so famous and rich for money by making claims, but we dont really know either way if its true or not. He made himself into an easy target by being eccentric and having kids around him as well as the Neverland etc. But the point is we dont really know and to just automatically assume guilt because he was "weird?" "different", The sheer no. of false claims these days by people going after celebrities looking for a quick payday or 15 minutes of fame…

        • to just automatically assume guilt because he was "weird?

No, because of the people who were with him who say they were molested. Rather than speak blindly, go and watch Leaving Neverland and come back.

Maybe he's innocent, maybe not. But regardless, a 34 year old man sleeping in the same bed with 7 year old boys and always surrounding himself with little boys is certainly drawing a solid foundation.

    • +8

"ongoing abuse by his publishers and as a result he abused some children" - There is no excuse for abusing children…. But in this case, if he has been acquitted so many times, you wonder if there was any in the first place. Not saying he did it, not saying he didn't. Just doubts on the authenticity of the claimants. Just ask yourself this, if you were the parent of a child that has been abused by MJ, would you take money as recompense?

      • +2

if you were the parent of a child that has been abused by MJ, would you take money as recompense?

Given he is dead, what other options are available? Even if it wasn't, what other sorts of recompense are available?

        • +2

Even when he was alive, he settled easy to keep initial claims quiet… while I'm a huge fan, I'm sure he has does things that others will look differently at him for, however it still reeks of people just wanting money.

        • +1

This was with reference to when he was alive. Most of the claims against him went away with money or he was also acquitted on a few instances. Comes down to which you think is a bigger 'wrong'….. convicting an innocent person or acquitting a guilty one

      • +1

haha I just wrote a post above and then realised, you said the same thing, I agree with you 100%.

      • +4

Yeah. There seems to be a lot of reasonable doubt where MJ’s guilt is concerned. I’m not saying he didn’t or did. But given he was found not guilty, neither the FBI or LAPD could ever prove any wrong doing, some of his staunchest defenders were other young boys who had stayed there and been close to him, including Corey Feldman who has been very open about naming and shaming his abusers, the fact that all his accusers have profited from it financially and have some questionable stories and it’s enough for me to give him the benefit of the doubt and enjoy listening to his music guilt free.

        • Money talks

    • +1

He was killed for speaking out? Can you elaborate?

  • +31

    Is this a violin concert?

I heard he was a fiddler.

    • -2

      He only fiddles "little" instruments.

      Hes an amazing artist though!!!

      • +14

Just jokes - I LOVED Michael Jackson as a kid.

        And vice versa.

        • ahhahah

        • +4

I LOVED Michael Jackson as a kid, and Michael Jackson would've LOVED ME as a kid.

    • Yeh, he played the 'flute' 🎺

      • +6

I think you mean the "Piccolo" (small flute)

        • +2

          Ah yes, a 'minor' mistake!

    • Gold! Pure gold!!!

    • +5

He was a very touching artist

  • +24

MJ is not alive to defend himself … these people are cashing on his name…

    • +1

It's his estate, with his kids, that's ok as far as this video goes.

As for the others wanting to sue a dead man.. Well…

      • +3

Yep. His estate earned US $825 million last year. His kids are gonna be alright.

        • +6

And so they should be, he helped as many people as anyone did. They are entitled to it too, and by the sounds of it are also quite generous too.

    • Reeks of it.

  • +4

Which idiot in their marketing department decided to release the concert from the "Dangerous" tour??

    • +2

      🎶"I'm bad! I'm bad, y'know it. OW!"🎶

  • +4

    Can't possibly be live.

    • That was my first thought too haha

The Michael Jackson trial was one where the media fed the frenzy of Wacko Jacko and did not pay any due consideration to what truly happened in the courtroom. Michael Jackson was found not guilty, and for very good reasons. The jury were very very certain that he was innocent. But the public will only remember stuff like how he used to have kids sleep over in his bedroom.

Here's an interesting read for someone wanting a more objective assessment of the case:
    https://www.huffingtonpost.com/charles-thomson/one-of-the-mo…

    • +16

This was a great read. They really put him through the grinder.

But when you think about that kind of behaviour:

      Cosby 70+ allegations.
      Harvey 60+ allegations.
      Michael 4, all proven liars.

      Does seem like a witchhunt.

      • -2

would you let your kids spend the night with him?

    • +2

What a great article, thanks for posting the link. If only more bandwagon jumpers would read it.

Copies of court documents of People of the State of California v. Michael Joe Jackson, in the Superior Court of the State of California in and for the County of Santa Barbara, before Hon. Rodney S. Melville, Judge

    • +1

I've seen the doco but only skimmed your link. Not sure where I stand.

On the one hand, the court process went through a lot of detail and the jury came to that conclusion after a lot of days of evidence etc.

On the other, could these two accusers (& their families) really be going on about this in this leaving neverland doco just for the money? They come across very genuine, and I couldn't find holes in their argument…

      Dunno !

  • +4

Forever the King of Pop. Thanks for the link, the Dangerous tour was epic and the height of his popularity (it was pre-accusations I think). Excellent album.

    • I'd say the Motown 25 was the absolute height… and arguably no one's reached that and ever will.

Do love Dangerous though, such an amazing album with so much variety.

  • -4

How is this a deal at all? So what if they put the DVD on youtube.

    • +1

I know, imagine listing all the free content on youtube. The whole point of youtube is free content.

    • Yeah it's like saying it's available on the torrent sites. But its probably the greatest concert ever so there's that.

  • +9

So the verdict is in. It's Guilty until proven Innocent. May the Heavens help us all.

The dude obviously cannot defend himself for a simple fact, he's dead!

    • +5

given the opportunity would you let your child sleep over this man's home? my guess is no.. we're always casting judgement on people, it's part of being a social animal

    • Jimmy Savile was never found guilty, I don't think that the 3 guys coming out seem genuine at all but to dismiss all claims before his death would be silly- Terry Georges story for example does seem like he is telling the truth about Jackson having phone sex with him, and even defended him saying he was 'a confused person rather than a paedophile'.

  • +4

Radio 2CH announcer yesterday said that 2CH management is seriously considering never playing Michael Jackson songs again. It's owned, ironically, by the Church.

  • -2

if i like this deal, can people legitimately say i condone his abuse of children (assuming it happened)? :/

  • -3

Can we downvote this on moral grounds? :p

    • +7

Only if Michael Jackson bought caged eggs.

  • Love Michael Jackson and his lovely family..! except the witch sister Latoya. People only read the sensational

  • +6

He's innocent. They had ample opportunities to nail him and the authorities couldn't. This documentry is nothing but a cheap cash grab and an attempt to sully a dead person's reputation. Their accounts of what "really" happened at Neverland has changed many times over the years, their credibility is shot. Point your finger at MJ having settled out of court numerous times….. every settlement there was no admission of liability. The guy had to sleep in the same bed as his brothers (in some instances when the brothers were entertaining ladies), thats a recipe for disaster.

    • +3

Have you watched the new documentary?

      • +2

        Yes
And Wade's claims have been thrown out previously.

    • -1

"cheap cash grab"…my understanding is that the interviewees weren't paid.

Judge dismisses Wade Robson’s sex abuse lawsuit against Michael Jackson
        By Associated Press

        December 20, 2017 | 12:13am

This dude has been after the money for a long long time ever since getting rejected by the estate

Conveniently left out of Leaving Neverland was the fact that when Robson was denied a role in a Michael Jackson themed Cirque du Soleil production, his assault allegations suddenly emerged.

    • Of course money doesn't protect people at all. lol

    Here for the comments

I am sickened by some of these comments. I was his doctor/dealer, and he was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I read Michael Jackson Live and suddenly I was back in my youth years again, getting ready to go to a concert.

  • Saw it 2 days ago, never occurred to me this could be a deal.

For someone who is interested, that channel released Live in Wembley as well.

  • Legend!

  • +1

He was a vey talented artist. Having them in a bed when they aren't yours is odd. That's where most normal people would stop. The guys dead. We will never really know the truth now. So sad. Nothing better than that Grammy performance of Billie Jean. That's what I would like to remember of MJ.

    • +1

How would he being alive lead to finding the truth?
Would he tell you the truth?

      He's music is good but…
The guy was a weirdo that likes to sleep in bed with young children that is not his own.
Even if it is your own children, there would point where you would stop sleeping with them.

Even his maid had a tell all interview on 60 minutes….
There was also some stories or suggestions that he was abused physically and sexually by his father as a child.
There's also rumour that he talked with a soft meek voice in public but had a deeper voice in private..

When it is other pedos, you can see clearly and put two and two together
but it's harder to accept that your idol could be a pedo.

      Just look at his actions
He likes to sleep with young children that is not his own children
      in his locked room..
And only other adults around all worked for him…

Would you trust leaving your own children to sleep over his house?
