Hi everyone!

I was in the market for a Galaxy Watch 42mm with LTE and found this steal.

Turns out JB Hi-Fi was selling the Galaxy Watch 42mm w/ LTE for the same price as the Galaxy Watch 42mm w/o LTE!

Comparison:

• JB Hi-Fi - Galaxy Watch 42mm w/o LTE $499
• Harvey Norman - Galaxy Watch 42mm w/ LTE $599
• Rebel Sport - Galaxy Watch 42mm w/ LTE $599

Some advantages of this watch (from what I see) include:

• Straps aren't proprietary.
• Seems to be better than Apple Watch Series 3 for fitness tracking (i.e. can track more workouts than just cardio).
• Circular, so looks more like a normal watch (and offers always-on display too!)

But then issues of this watch include:

• Runs Tizen, not Android Wear, so limited app selection.
• Bixby is worse than Siri.
• Limited watch faces (but the default ones seem fine as is).

  Is this worth upgrading to from a Pebble? Have been using one for years and still working fine but kinda interested in trying a more traditional looking watch haha

  Runs Tizen, not Android Wear, so limited app selection.

  A positive in my experience. Assistant is on my phone, so just use that if I really need it.

  Notifications show up on the watch, anyway.

  Activity tracking, and general exercise usage is wayyyyyyy better than anything Google fit can offer. I now use Samsung health which I hugely prefer over Google fit.

  Just wanted to say there are thousands of watch faces. You just need to download them from the galaxy store.
