  Can anyone explain what Photoshop Elements is?

  I just need a basic version of lightroom, with a few features of photoshop.

    A cut down, simplified version of photoshop with some features of lightroom. As best I know, I'm not an expert.

        Affinity's 'Designer' program is also known as the "Photoshop killer". Adobe products don't serve many smaller businesses and freelancers now and their products have started to bloat too much with a higher price tag and less features to uprising competitors.

    To be honest, I'm very underwhelmed by the elements trial I downloaded.
    Can't justify CC though
