Tbh this is actually a pretty decent deal.

  • I think it is pretty weak. Offworld Trading Company is great, but the others are a mixed bag. If you really want CIV VI its a good deal but eh.

You're forgetting stellaris. Offworld, stellaris and Civ VI is a good trio. Especially considering Civ VI goes for like 20 bucks on it's own. Add games like Plague Inc (good fun for a few hours) and all the rest to get a good bundle - IMO.

I actually thought Ashes was the strongest title here. Guess we've all got some new games to try!

  • Everything but 2 games in the 1st tier have been available before.

    • +2

Absolutely worth for the $1 benchmark - kidding I wonder why it never caught storm like the C&C series

      • The RTS genre is more or less dead or relegated to indies at this stage.

EA killed C&C and then pissed on its grave.

Blizzard have released 3 SC2 games over a very long period of time and 2 remasters. They refuse to make WC4.

What other big name RTS's are still a thing?

tier 1 was good enough for me, i have the other games. Btw stellaris you want to get the dlc packages aswell, it makes the game even better.

  • Looks like a goos bundle, but if you like these type of games I'm sure you'd have or two of them already. Stellaris is haaaard, an unforgiving game, well made though.

  • I have 1 of all the games already and had most of the others on my wishlist, so this is an insta buy.

Best bundle in a long time IMHO.

Tier 1 is worth it for any single game - none of those have ever been anywhere near that cheap before.
Tier 2 is again a steal for either game - never been anywhere near that price before.
Tier 3 is a bargain for Stellaris. It's been cheaper once (on GOG, so no steam key for those that want that). Plague inc. is an awesome game too, very different.
Tier 4 is probably the worst value unless you desperately wanted Civ VI.

Oh wow I just bought stellaris for $15 last week. Played my first game last night. And now it's cheaper hahaha

    • +2

You can refund Steam games if you have played less than a period of time (might be two hours?).

      • I might have spent all of last night playing Stellaris. That's why the timing is just so bad haha

        • Have you had anything refunded before?

    • +1

Refund and re-purchase via this, it'll stay on your PC but be unable to play until you reapply the license via the humble code.

      • Thanks, good advice and I would do it if I could.

  • I have Civ VI on ipad already, but the PC version will let me buy the dlc at least.

  • Thinking if I should get Civ VI on Switch or PC? Any difference in game mechanics?

    • +4

PC is probably easier and more convenient to play for this type of game.

  • Thanks OP, got tier 3

  • Thank you OP I got the first tier which is awesome value for niche and ashes. I already had Niche on my wishlist and Ashes looks really interesting so I'm very happy.

  • If you have none of these games up to Tier 3 is a really great buy.

But if you are patient wait for Civilization 6 complete edition.

Same could be also said about Stellaris but it is unprecedented and the cheapness of Stellaris complete edition is unknown whereas Civilization complete editions are famous for great value.

    • Surely Civ6 is worth USD6 more.

Thanks OP, bought tier 4. I didn't have any of the games, stoked.

      • +2

Civ games are really not that great without their expansions. I know everyone loves to suck Civ V's dick but the base V game in itself is actual trash. The base game of six is far better than five but it's still really bad without the expansions.

  • Am I missing something, or do I need to pay $US12 extra to subscribe to HB, on top of the stated price?

    • No, you do not need to. Just untick it.

  • Looks like the second tier has gotten more expensive and switched around with tier 3?

    Tier 2: $9 USD:
    • Stellaris
    • Plague Inc. Evolved
    Tier 3: $9.01 USD:
    • Dungeons 3
    • Offworld Trading Company
    • Offworld Trading Company: Jupiter's Forge Expansion Pack
    • No, what happened is that the BTA price of tier 2 is now above that of tier 3. That is why it looks that way.
The tiers are still the same.

    • I think you're right - when trying to pay US9, it says you won't get the BTA content (need to add more money)
