  • Nice, thanks OP!

  • Love them, have purchased hundreds of them so far and no complaints. Would recommend the full wrap one, looks a lot better imho

    • Thanks, added to OP.

    • Do they fade and get blurry after a while for you?

  • +1

They're normal price at Kmart for $7 any day of the week! We went in at Xmas to get some done and their normal turnaround time is 21 days where Kmart was next day.

    • -7

Was it rubbish quality like everything else at Kmart?

      • Nope was fine, It doesn't take much to do mate..

        • -4

Things from places like Kmart are normally fine at first. 2 1/2 months isn't exactly a long period for it to last.

Btw I've got photos printed off at both Kmart and HN and the difference is night and day.

As much as Ozbargainers don't like supporting Gerry, this is a better offering than Kmart's. 3 week turnaround sounds ridiculous though - probably only that at Christmas time.

this is a better offering than Kmart's

Even though you haven't compared the two?

Yes it's $1 cheaper but I think most people will have a Kmart a lot closer than a Harvey Norman so the extra $1 is likely saved in travel costs.

I am all for quality comparisons but this seems to be just based on 'feels'

              I've compared photo quality.

Harvey Norman is 15 min walk. Kmart is a 20 min bus ride.

It's a logical conclusion based on evidence. If the photos are better at HN, the photo mugs will most likely be also.

Btw I love Kmart. It's a great shop, where most things are good value (ie quality = cost).

I have 5 Kmarts closer than my nearest Harvey Norman, so I guess it depends on where you live, a quick check show there are more Kmarts that Harvey Normans that do them so my point will likely be valid for the Majority, but certainly not everyone.

I'll agree most things at Kmart are of average quality, but I have one of their photo mugs and the quality is pretty good, don't have an HN one to compare it to though, and haven't had it long enough to evaluate longevity.

Is this antarctic solstice night and day or equinox night and day?

    • +2

The kmart quality is actually half decent, the bigger problem is that you can hardly do proper design with the in store software. Customisation is a lot easier with the HN ones

Stubby holders are $4.95 as well for anyone wondering

    • +3

      Thanks, added to OP.

    • Anyone know if these stubby holders are the crappy ones that come flat and you wrap them around the can/bottle, then secure with the velcro? **Update - appears that they are therefore I would suggest avoid. How they can call these deluxe is beyond me, no base in them either ***

95 cents increase. I see inflation

  • Flash player - yuk.. can't even get it to load on Firefox stuck on loading screen (and yes I've allowed Flash to run on the page)

    • Got it working on Edge ;/

Firefox? Did I wake up in 2006?

      • +2

It's my work 'personal' browser, use Chrome for work.

Nothing wrong with Firefox either ;p

      • +6

Firefox is actually awesome again. They're one of the best privacy focused browsers. Highly recommend checking them out again.

Hmm, no dice for me on the stubby holder.

    • Care Instructions
Lightly dust, or Vacuum with Upholstery brush.

I don't own either a vacuum or an upholstery brush.

  • Thanks for posting the deal op, I got myself a few mugs :)

    • Why would someone neg this? You're hardly going to Broden the deal - who wants mugs with someone's personal photos on them, and you wouldn't make any profit putting artwork on them

  • My 2 cents. The one in the link says only dishwasher safe. But https://www.harveynormanphotos.com.au/collections/mugs-drink… says microwave and dishwasher safe.

  • Any idea how long it takes for them to do the stubby holders?

  • Q already answered

  • Thanks OP. Ordered one with a coworker that sits near me's face printed on it.
    Lulz will be had

  • Designed a few personalised mugs a few months back and gave them out as presents which were really well received.

Quality was really good and are a great gift idea. Let your imagination run wild…

Just allow extra time for delivery if you don't want to pay extra.

  • This reminds me, I never got my last one
