JB have it for $499 + The Division 2 Download Code

He is not posting a bargain, he is posting a comment advising users that they may be able to get JB Hifi to price match Costco (?) and get it cheaper. Seems fair enough to me.

        • -5

They have commented it claiming it’s $429 at Jb hifi. Misleading for others to believe that it’s $429 unless they read the small print on receipt. And not even sure if it’s a recent receipt

          • +2

@Pricebeat: They didn't submit it as a bargain… and it is quite obvious having the link there.

            • -2

@Caped Baldy: Where did I in this entire comment section said that they posted it as bargain? That comment was in relation to person claiming it’s $429 at Jb Hifi and me pointing out that it’s price match and cut out the date of price match. Is it too hard for people to narrate these days? They never mentioned it’s a price match. And yet everyone is onto me with their tin foil hats on.

                • -1

@Dex38313: So price match was a month ago? And is this same price at costco now?
Ironically I am at Essendon DFO now

                  • @Pricebeat: Did you manage to get a Price Match at JB Essendon DFO ?

                Umm…

                “Price matches aren’t considered bargain”

@Pricebeat: I don't think tin foil hats means what you think it means.

                    • -1

@djkelly69: Well go ahead and show us your price match receipt?

    • +1

      When was this price-matched?

    • Is that price at Costco still relevant?

How did you show them the price to match?

      • I rang jb said Costco we’re selling the Forza bundle
For $429 thaw told me we can match that come in
But as far as games go I shows the the bigw bundle and got the extra game

    • wonder if you show the receipt at Jb HiFi if they will match it?

      • Highly doubt it

        • I was also wondering the same think. I have a 200 dollar voucher and it would have been a good use.

The MS store is useless at holding stock of games. They ran out of RDR2 so quickly and still haven't gotten it back in stock. None of the other games are worth bothering with TBH.

    • +1

I jumped on that deal fairly quickly and was able to get the RDR2 from Microsoft.
Got a white console - so many download/updates for the games

    • RDR2 back in stock this morning

  • Is it possible to use Kinect Sensor with XBOX One S or One X?

    • +2

Xbox one S, yes, but you need to buy a power adaptor, it is not powered by the xbox one, as it was with the 1st gen. I'd assume it's the same with Xbox One X.
Official power adaptor is very expensive now that microsoft don't make it anymore, but you've got some cheaper v2 made by third party on ebay.

      • +1

I have kinect working on my one X using 3rd party adapter

        • Thanks Folks for your inputs. Would it be possible to share any links for such adaptors? Also is it a specific kinect version that is compatible with One S or can I buy any Kinect? Approximate cost of Kinect?

        • Please share a link to the one you have, I have seen a few cheap 3rd party adaptors online but am weary of how well they will work

          • +1

@yacman: If you got some soldering skills, you can also solder in a 12V AC Adapter and buy a USB3 Cable. Instead of using an adapter.

If you shucked a few HDDs in the past, you can reuse those AC Adapters since they are 12V and usually quite high quality.

            • @lplau: Thanks but not confident in this so if anyone has a link to a reliable cheap 3rd party adaptor, it would be appreciated

I'm hoping to see a Xbox One S $200 special again soon!

    • They were close to that with the catch.com.au deal (combined with unidays) about two weeks ago. I got my xbox one s with that deal and sold my xbox one 1st gen for $100 on facebook marketplace in less than 24 hours! Better than trade in deals at eb games.

BIG W have 3 bundle offers for $549.. not sure if the extra games can be sold at a good price or not.. Xbox One X 1TB Console + Division 2 Token + Forza Horizon 4 & Forza Motorsport 7 Token Pack + PUBG Token Bundle, plus others in link

    • +1

Division 2 was just released so that might sell.

    • Seems like the Motorsport 7 bundles are sold out

  • Seems like a rip considering it was like $379 last year's sales
