    Not sure if I am a fan of the signup,

    Can you add the Fine print to your post, it's not a simple Woolies + CM Voucher

    Especially the CM one, they tend to send it to you via their spam marketing (with the same conditions)

  • Sorry didn’t read carefully. Will edit it.

    This is the normal price

    • The bonus WW and cellar masters are not.

      • +1

        They always include early bird offers. It’s still the normal price

        • Not saying the current bonus is a deal, but saying early bird offers is always included is incorrect.
          $70 for the book (nothing else) is the normal price.

            @Ughhh:

            but saying early bird offers is always included is incorrect.

            I've been buying the book for over a decade and they pretty much always have early bird coupons. If anything, this year you are paying more…

            • @jv: And you check the prices every month, even after owning a book? There's been times where I wanted to buy a book, but didnt because there weren't any bonus offers.

              $70 is the regular price (or maybe ~$65 for certain books/cities), but bonus offers are not always the same nor always available, some are better than others.

              • +1

                @Ughhh:

                $70 is the regular price

                No, they put the price up, and in March, there are always bonus coupons.

                • @jv:

                  No, they put the price up

                  Since like a few years ago?

                  Where else can I buy a book for less than $70 and/or with better value bonus right now? I can get it for less as I know someone who works at a featured restaurant, but what if you don't know anyone?

                  there are always bonus coupons.

                  BTW, the deal isn't "bonus coupons", ie. extra/new restaurant offers etc.

                  • @Ughhh:

                    You can get it for the Same price with the coupons anywhere

                    • @jv: Don't think you get the point still….meh.

                      • +1

                        @Ughhh: The point is that there isn't any saving, as this is what they offer every year at this time.

                        It's not discounted.

                        • @jv:

                          as this is what they offer every year at this time.

                          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/entertainmentbook.com.au

                          I don't see this bonus Woolies and CM voucher being available all the time and every year at this time.

                          It's not discounted.

                          When there's a promotion, its usually 1. Discount or 2. Bonus offer ie. gift with purchase. Which one do you think this promo is?

                          • +1

                            @Ughhh: It's not anything in addition to what they normally give you when you buy in March.

                            • @jv: They do always have extra vouchers and bonus offers come Feb / March and the price has gone up over the years sadly. I used to get them quite a bit cheaper.

            • @jv: correct. $65->$70 this year

              • +1

                @Tiggrrrrr: So basically this is advertising a price increase and you're not really getting anything more…

                • @jv:

                  So basically this is advertising a price increase and you're not really getting anything more…

                  If you really believe so, then you should neg the deal. Unless..

                  • @Ughhh:

                    If you really believe so, then you should neg the deal.

                    That's against the voting rules.

                    • @jv: How so? It's a price increase, not a bargain/deal as you said. Thats what voting is for.

                        @Ughhh:

                        10 upvotes from 500 clicks…

                        490 people didn't think it was a bargain…

                        • @jv: 1 neg from 500 clicks.

                          499 people didnt think it wasnt a bargain?

                          • -1

                            @Ughhh: That's a double negative which is bad…

                            Also read the voting rules.

                            You aren't allowed to neg if you just think it's not a bargain.

                            • @jv: Have I found another JV trigger?

                            • @jv: Ah thats right, everything you've said earlier has not been backed by proof. You're unable to find a deal thats selling the Entertainment book for a cheaper price/deal right now.
                              Basically verbal fart to someone who wants a book now.

              • @Tiggrrrrr: Prices has increased ~$5 for a few years now ifaik. Everything, including $1/L petrol is a price increase if we wanna compare back to the old days.

                • @Ughhh: I wasn't making a comment on prices in general.
                  My comment was agreeing that yes prices had increased (again) this year.

                  Note:
                  $5/$65 = 8%
                  Inflation = 2%

    Feel like more people need to add the T&Cs

  • +2

    Not sure on the value of EB anymore. There seems to be so many other avenues to source similar deals without a yearly subscription.

    • +1

      Such as ozb!!

    • +1

      True, OZB, Suncorp App, Cashrewards, my work Staff Club membership, Google are my pet visits…:)

      Likely not to renew my Ent. Membership this year.

  • With all the fork deals and other dining deals now, as well as Cash rewards, it feels less and less valuable to have an entertainment book membership now… Got one last year and kinda struggled to use it =(

    • Lol just saw a few other ozb with same views… Haha

    • What do you mean cash Rewards dining deals?

  • EB is sucks now, DJ egc is gone and CW egc is gone.

    • EB is sucks now,

      They still have great accomodation and car hire deals. I've rarely found anything cheaper when booking holidays.

  • +1

    Yeah na, you aren't saving much money in this deal at all

    • +2

      You're not saving anything at all. They always offer the bonus coupons if you buy the book in March.

  • +2

    These are the kind of bonuses that Kogan etc include with your order, usually go straight in the bin.

  • Can you get 10% off chemist Warehouse gift card anywhere else ?

  • Can someone tell me how the digital version works? Do they scan the voucher on your phone or can you use it multiple times

    • +1

      They tap a button on your phone screen which changes the status of the offer to redeemed. Most restaurants know how to use it these days.

      Some will not redeem it and tell you can come back and use it again; it's up to them.

  • LOL, this stacked with the other dodgy deal:

    Got the vouchers in the mail.
