    Having recently switched from a 520L bottom-freezer fridge to a 620L double door fridge, I'd say the new one feels smaller, even though it's bigger, simply because it's so narrow. I'm pretty sure my next fridge will be the bottom-freezer one.

      That's exactly my experience! :o

      Except I'd go top-freezer! I'd never go a bottom-freezer (due to inherent design flaws that make many of them noisy, inefficient & unreliable) or SBS (for the reasons you've outlined) again! ;)

    I'll never buy another Bosch fridge. Mine leaked in the internal compartment. I have to remember to wipe out the water every few days before it ends up on the floor. The other Bosch kitchen stuff like dishwashers and cooktops are good.

    Clive anthonys in Queensland about 2 months ago were advertising this for $1295 and bosch were giving you $ 300 cash back.
    Plus free delivery if you asked and may be a liitle more off..
    But since the Bosch deal which brought them down to $995 is over I guess this is ok.
    It is made in Korea and if you look at the top of the freezer door around the seal they all have bad workmanship on 5 that I inspected, the salesman said that not every product can be made to perfection. Well you do not see German made products with shotty workmanship..
    I bought a Samsung in the end because of the twin cool feature, to keep things fresh.
