I have about 8 off these in my home media/vm server been going strong for the last 1y 3m, good read/write speeds(for spinning rust), only had 1 dud out of the lot, it was easy to get a replacement I just had to ship it back to them.

  Hi Fr05ty - When you had to return your faulty drive, where was it to? Was it within Australia? The reason I ask is that Western Digital wanted me to return my last failed drive to Vietnam!

    Careful though, after 1/2 years seller warranty you will NOT be able to RMA them to Toshiba.

  These drives are missing two bottom mounting holes. I had to cut away the positioning knobs on my HDD trays to fit. Bloody annoying.

    OOS, but I'd say being Enterprise grade it would be very good if you don't mind 7200rpm over 5400rpm (heat). 5400rpm drives seem to be disappearing slowly but surely anyway.
