  • is it good as a second drive in the PC?

    • +2

They'll work just fine as a second drive. Good quality drive too.

      • Thanks, just bought 1

  • Hi Fr05ty - When you had to return your faulty drive, where was it to? Was it within Australia? The reason I ask is that Western Digital wanted me to return my last failed drive to Vietnam!

    • +1

I sent back to the them in Victoria

      • Nice. Thanks for the info.

    • Careful though, after 1/2 years seller warranty you will NOT be able to RMA them to Toshiba.

  • These drives are missing two bottom mounting holes. I had to cut away the positioning knobs on my HDD trays to fit. Bloody annoying.

    • +1

And nobody likes cutting away their knobs.

      • BME Pain Olympics says otherwise.

I do NOT recommend searching for that.

  • Only 2 years warranty?

    • they are refurbs

      • Condition: Brand New

        These are OEM bulk lots.

  • +2

Really decent price for local warranty internal drives

  • is it good for NAS?

    • OOS, but I'd say being Enterprise grade it would be very good if you don't mind 7200rpm over 5400rpm (heat). 5400rpm drives seem to be disappearing slowly but surely anyway.

  • why no toshiba 5 year guarantee?

    • Disks sold by systemax IT are grey imports.

  • i just changed the url to a updated listing how do we get 'out of stock' removed
