  • "Free grinding if required?"
You mean you normally charge for grinding?

    • +2

No doesn't say anywhere that they charge for grinding.

      • Correct no charge for grinding.

        • +1

I have reusable pods and want them grinded. What option should I pick?

          • @footyboy: What reusable pods do you have. I am looking at getting some

  • +2

Nevermind, add to cart to see half price

    • I’m not getting half price even after adding to my cart. Weird.

Edit: Ah needs an Australian address. Works now.

  • +2

Ordered the flair flavour from the last deal and I really enjoy them.

  • Has anyone tried these beans? What did you think?

    • +2

Try Flair. I also believe Aroma is good, but haven't tried that one yet.

      • Bought Aroma personally

    • +4

      Aroma and Flair.
Aroma has more flavour. Flair has a cleaner taste, less of a punch (good for weaker drinkers). I enjoy both flavours. Dont try Decaf though (unless you cannot drink caff) as that flavour is quite bland.

    • to be fair, the same price free shipping i would go for industry beans.

  • +1

I ordered the Aroma and Flair and they are delicious. Last a long time. With this special price, I recommend new and existing players to jump on it.

    • +1

Coffee beans do not last a long time :\

      • I freeze mine so it lasts long, but I know not many people do that. Too bad coffee beans only has few weeks instead of years~

        • +1

Don’t freeze beans if you care about taste. You should consume them fresh. When they defrost they get condensation on them and it ruins them.

    • Did your coffee arrive? Flair is nice, Aroma on the other side… terrible. Never have i had such burnt and bitter coffee in my life. Won't be ordering again

  • +2

Have Bean wanting to try this coffee. Anyone recommend a particular variety?

Edit: Also Don't forget 12% cashback w/ shopback

    • Decided to get the variety pack

    • Very punny!!

      • +1

Yes that joke was the cream of the crop. Although the pun did grind me up a bit.

    • +3

      Better latte than never

  • +1

    Orders, thanks :)

  • +1

    Cheers, ordered 2kg

    • Quick post! Received yesterday, thanks!

  • +1

Thanks, bought 3 bags of whole beans of different varieties.

  • Is the discount applied at checkout, showing $44.99 for me on web page

    • +8

Would you not have found the answer quicker by testing this yourself?

      • yes, just worked it out, applied at checkout.

    Currently Unavailable :\

    what's the roast date ???

    • +7

Roasting tomorrow, the additional stock added, overwhelmed by the OzBargain support - thank you all!

  • Do these work with the Breville Barrista machine? Can’t seem to find beans that work well with it

    • Personally, I've used a Breville the Barista Touch Espresso with great results.

    • Anything will work with that !!

    • +1

I’d suggest it the grind and not the machine giving you issues

    • Not sure where you are but I had issues too. I'd try different types of coffee beans. But I personally like Merlo and Romcaffe.

    • The Barista Express?
How long ago did you get it? Sometimes the grinder needs to be adjusted to get the grind finer. You can apparently ask Breville for a shim to add to help with this, but I didn't want to wait, so I opened my machine up and manually adjusted the cogs for the grinder.
Once I did this I have been getting great results as I could never get the grind fine enough and ended up overloading and over tamping the portafilter which over-extracted :(
      All good now though!

    • You have to adjust your grind settings to suit the beans and the type of coffee you're making, not the other way around. There are other variables at play that can also affect the ideal grind size for espresso, but you really should fine-tune those settings regularly.

I'd suggest watching some videos and experimenting:

Roast date? I expect roasters to add this vital piece of information.
Edit: as soon as I posted, OP replied to another post.
Seems like roast date is within days? Is this true for all stock? What's the oldest stock you keep?
Edit 2: website says roasted daily. Maybe I should "read the article" before commenting lol.

    • +2

Correct Shiny, based on demand, mostly within 48 hours of dispatch.

  • Organic discount doesn't work?

    • Also 500g Viva discount doesn't get applied once I add it to the cart. It works for the FairTrade one though?

      • +1

        Investigating.

        • It worked, just had to go through to the final payment page. Thanks!

  • 1000g Viva not available as whole beans; hope these come back so I can order!

    • Yes, strange. If roasted daily, surely whole beans are easier to obtain the ground.
Many varieties only have small packs of whole beans.

      • Updated the stock, should now be available. Any issues send a direct message.

  • Can't order any 1000g whole beans….can I just send a message after? to not grind?

    • +1

Updated the stock, should now be available. Any issues send a direct message.

  • Miracle, can you get 1kg whole bean bags?
    Can't select them

    • +1

Updated the stock, should now be available. Any issues send a direct message.

  • Prices are coming up as over $40 for me for 1kg?

Not the much more enjoyable price of:

    1KG = $22.50
    500g = $17.50
    250g = $12.50

    please advise?

    • +2

When it goes thru to checkout the price drops.

  • Hi,
Are we able to order the variety pack as whole beans?
    Thanks

    • Stock updated should be available in a few moments.

  • +1

    Great, got some whole beans.
    Thanks

  • Can I order now but get the item in about 2 weeks from now? Still got other beans at home and I want to enjoy this as fresh as possible

    • Same

      • +2

No problem, send a direct message and I'll add the order note.

  • +3

Anymore whole beans in the variety packs? Keen to order, but would prefer to try variety smallest but can't see whole beans as an option.

    • same here

    • Ditto

    • Yep, wanted the variety pack as whole bean, there's no option for that

      • Stock updated. Should be available in a few moments.

  • +2

Thanks. We normally use Lazzio beans from Aldi for $13/kg but happy to try at $23/kg.

  • +1

    Thanks bought!

  • +1

Grabbed 2kg, looking forward to it

  • Shopback is terrible, still pending Amazon au payment from 3th of Dec

  • +1

Suggestions to use for a cold brew? Aroma/Flair?
And what kind of option would I look at selecting for a more coarse grinding?

Hope these are still on sale tomorrow!

    • We're still going! I'd personally recommend Aroma.

  • +1

Thank you looking forward to trying the new beans

  • +1

Hey OP - does 1KG come in multiple bags?

    • +1

      1KG comes in a 1KG bag

  • +1

Thank you. Giving it a shot. ordered 1kg Aroma whole beans.

  • +1

    Awesome deal, thanks op

  • +1

Where can I find out about the roasts of the beans?

  • Hi OP if I order now can I 1) delay order by 3 weeks as I just picked up fresh beans this morning) and 2) will the beans be freshly roasted in roughly 3 weeks' time and then sent to me or will I get old stock? Thanks!

    • +1

No problem, just send us a direct message with the order number and when you would them delivered.

      • Thanks. that's great customer service. Purchasing now

      • HI just sent you a message (ORDER # 503-9904533-4590205)

  • Last time I ordered from your website, it took something like 9 working days to arrive to Perth. Is the shipping time improved via Amazon?

    • 9 days is a little excessive. Drop us an email with the order number and I'll investigate. Saying that we ship from Sydney 5-6 working days to Perth.

    • I see my order has shipped with Fastway, unfortunately they are anything but.. consider 9 days quick for them. Most of my Fastway deliveries from over east to Perth have been around around 2 weeks, one from Sydney was over 3 weeks once. Hopefully these beans don't take that long.

      • 8 days since order without delivery (Melbourne inner suburbs -less than 5km from fastway depot). Even at half price deal it is hardly worth the hassle if cannot provide consistent delivery. Contacted both bada bean and fastway during the week for an update (tracking says it has been with the driver for delivery for 4 days) neither company able to provide any information. Unless these beans have magical properties I wouldn’t be ordering again

  • +1

    Thanks Op. Bought one.

  • +1

    Thanks OP!

  • Is it just me or does the grind type not show anywhere in the cart, or in your order after you place it? I hope the seller is able to see it at least. When i click the link from the order it seems to select the correct one, it just doesn't mention it anywhere. (Ordered whole beans)

    • I know what you mean Sheez, we're new to Amazon, I've asked our rep if there's a setting to change.

  • Are all of the beans 100% arabica?

    • I cancelled my order. I could not find anywhere that the beans are arabica, bit dodgy that this is not disclosed anywhere.

  • Anyone tried using these grind coffee beans with nespresso machine (using refillable capsule)?

  • +1

Good timing. Just ran out of Pablo and Rusty's from last deal!

  • I use a Toddy cold brew coffee apparatus and it asks for coarsely grounded beans. Which options should I choose at checkout?
