    Seems a little under-specced for a 2K laptop?

A (very quick) search and the first thing I found was this at Harvey Norman for the same price.
Almost the same but you get a 256GB SSD.

You can also get this Acer from mWave for $200 less that has the same specs.

You gotta compare apples to apples if you neg because some other brand is cheaper.

Otherwise I would neg every Macbook deal because there's always something way cheaper but comparable or better.

Definitely still overpriced, the ebay Microsoft deal last week you could buy a R4 with a 8750, 16gb, 256gb 1tb, gtx1070 for $1919. And currently you can get this exact same laptop, DELL eBay with 20% off for $1839

Overpriced for a gtx 1060 laptop… can get cheaper here using PROGRAM20 which brings it down to $1599.
Same specs, just doesn't have a HDD which you can add yourself (not that expensive).

    • I like Alienware's aesthetic which Lenovo doesn't do. So for me this is not an apples to apples comparison either.

The one you linked to is a thin and lite. For gaming I think this is going to have a harder time with heat dissipation and will thermal throttle worse than the AW. Just a hunch from looking at the pics. I haven't tested them obviously.

  • I may have considered this it it was a 144hz ips panel
