Either i just got coupons or gave a combination of chinese and russian bots access to my PC. Or both.

    • Is that supposed to be funny?

      Aliexpress is very reliable.

You just gave ozbargain access to your PC and Someone hacking this site will get it too. You'd better cut your phone, NBN and cable lines and stay in a dungeon without electricity

Didn't realise that cashback for SB and CR has dropped. Shame that it doesn't cover that 10% gst anymore :(

    • +2

That dropped quite a long time ago. AliExpress nerfed their affiliate rates big time last year.

      • +2

Yeah I haven't shopped with Aliexpress for a while haha, just queueing up all my baby stuff and have about 41 items in my cart. Think theres an anniversary sale coming up so will wait for that

        • +5

Be sure to check the price history as sellers have a history of jacking during the sales.

          • @Clear: @Clear - I just tried that link. It couldn't find the item I was after. Does it only work for certain items?

            • +1

@Dan83: Usually you just paste the product URL in and it tells you

When's the due date? Congrats! My recommendation for baby stuff is to get hand me downs from family/friends. Babies go through clothes so quickly they might only wear an item a few times before it doesn't fit anymore!

          • @dust: Thank you! Unfortunately since starting our mortgage, we lost our social life due to either working our jobs or working on the house so no baby showers, and I'm the first in the family to have a baby. I'm still working full time for as long as I can, due in July. Hopefully my contract is extended til June as it will be pretty hard for someone to hire me now.. Also currently moving house again so tbh, I am a little overwhelmed. I haven't looked up much information about baby care, or what to do leading up to birth, havent even gone to the hospital yet (dr only just referred me last week so waiting for glucose test) and havent got a midwife :| I did buy lots of clothes in S.Africa because it was so cheap, and FB marketplaces, but I have joined a Buy Nothing local FB page and gotten heaps of baby clothes so yay :D

        • Lemme know if you want input on aliexpress cloth nappies.

        • Dunno why but I remembered the anniversary sale being later in the year, but it's next week! This blog is good for checking when the big sales events are on https://aliexpressblog.com/aliexpress-sale-dates-2019/

        • Wow. What baby items are u buying from aliexpress? Gotta be careful with cheap plastics coming from there.

          • @padman: Bibs, some cushy pram sleeping bag, grippy socks, dummies, rattles, cloths, toy blocks, headbands, change mats , rattles and cutesy random stuff haha. I usually go for the ones which have 4.8+ stars with hundreds of feedback

In Soviet Russia coupon finds you

  • What is everyone's experience with Aliexpress and getting stuff delivered? ie: how long did it take for you to receive the item? I ordered a phone cover on the 5th or March.

    • Depends how long it takes for the vendor to do your order then what shipping method you selected.

    • Some things take about 2 weeks, other things take 40+ days but it still gets delivered. I'm currently waiting on an order I made 3 Feb, "shipped" on 18 Feb, and tracking hasn't updated since 5 March. Another thing I ordered from a different seller on 4 Feb arrived on 21 Feb. Really hit or miss.

    • +3

Usually 2-4 weeks when shipped from China.
Some sellers offer "Ship from Australia" option, probably have warehouses here. I received one such order in just 4 days.

    • +1

I usually work on min 4 weeks. Never have been let down that way

    • Quickest just under 2 weeks, longest probably close to 8 weeks

I've never had anything not arrive

  • Thanks OP. :)

  • anyone know if blitzwolf bluetooth earbuds any good? or other recommendation? Thanks.

    • Which ones? They have many Bluetooth buds. The QCY QS1 are quite excellent for the money.

  • In Soviet Russia, coupon comes to you!

  • +1

Thanks, got AUD $7 off $35 spend :)

  • Thx OP.

Counter shows 45 mins to go.

  • The anniversary sales start in 7 days. These coupons expires just the day prior. Very well calculated.

    • To wait or not to wait, that's the question!

  • 10% GST now really sucks

    links are the same.

    • You are right, and coupons in that post are actually better because they expire on 31 March.

      • should be able to use the coupons for the anniversary sale.

plus any seller coupons are stackable

  • …and I guess my PC has now joined a Russian botnet army.
Oh well, at least I can get a discount off my next $2 phone case.

  • HOW CAN YOU NOT BUY IF THE DEALS ARE SO GOOD?!?!?!?
