[QLD] Gillette Fusion Blades - 8 Pack $14.20 (Was $35.50) - Instore at Woolworths (Coomera)

211

These 8 packs usually retail for $35.50 but they’re on clearance at my local store - Coomera - for $14.20. Not sure if they’re that price at other stores but they’re still full price online.

Just take oestrogen, no need to shave and no more toxic masculinity. Thanks gilette!

      • Then men will become shemales.

Imagine still being triggered about that ad. Says a lot about you really

Prefer to spend my money with a company that doesn't think I'm a bastard.

Here's their attempt at an apology: https://youtu.be/KM8JIJsutXU

I'd boycott them for life but I already switched to the better value Dollar Shave Club years ago.

Still offended. Must have hit a nerve

You presumably either identify with their targets or are just enraged for the sake of it/having trouble dealing with a world which is finally exposing the obvious?

  • Maintain the rage.

I still have a few blades left of the gillette fusion proglide. What would be a suitable replacement from another brand?

I recommend Dollar Shave Club, I've been with them for 5yrs after getting sick of paying for expensive Gillette blades. I was in the habit of using Gillette blades dull just to extend the life to save a bit of money - I don't have to do that with DSC. DSC are excellent quality, cheap, and you can control the frequency of deliveries if you don't shave much.

DSC should be OzBargainers' razor of choice, unless you are willing to go old school with a safety blade.

Oh, I forgot I was still annoyed at the ad.

  • Damn! I was there yesterday to pick up stuff from JB… :( That's a good price for the blades.

This is a great deal. Still not buying it.

I have major issues with this retailer. Haven't bought from them since toxic masculinity.

Not a good enough reason to neg the OP though is it?

      Oh, what did Woolworths do?

Google and find out. From memory the ass involved got the flick and deservedly so. Wasn't so much masculinity as misogynistic fwitedness if she/he's thinking of the same thing as I am. WW is also heavily involved in the poker machine industry which fleeces the addicted mercilessly, causing huge social problems.

Wouldn't go that far but you're pretty close to the mark. Any male offended by that message has serious issues they need to confront - including acceptance of facts surrounding male violence in societies. There was no attempt to paint all men with a particular brush, and unless you went looking to be offended you wouldn't be. No accounting for some mentalities though. Ignorance is no excuse.

  • now i'm confused.

Gilette think men are toxic so I wont offend Gilette by giving them some of my toxic money.
