  Hey Justride… Can you give any more information about the quality of these bikes? Just going on price alone, importing from the US (EG radcity and ride1up City, which both seem like better value propositions on specs alone)

    Hi, some advantages, Powerider has 250w mid crank motor, Radcity has 750w hub motor, which will be a bigger problem ride on the road in Australia.
    Powerider has 700c quick release wheels, hydraulic disk brakes with electric cut, 9 speed shimano gears, Samsung cell 36v 14ah lithium ion battery. integrated front rear lights.

    And the Radcity has 26inch wheels, Mechanical Disc Brakes, 7 speed gears.
    You may also consider the currency, the shipping cost. etc.,
    In my opinion, the biggest problem is the battery. If you want to purchase an e bike from overseas, and it can not be shipped by air, because it has lithium battery.

  I bought a Valk one off ebay which looks alot like this thunder bike for 900aud which a discount code. Only difference I can tell is mine is 26 inch tyres. Made in China as well but works amazingly well. Not sure if same company tho.

    Hi, I have checked the the bike you got from eBay, they look the similar but if you look at the specifications, they are totally the different. Almost all the parts of tat eBay brand are low end and unknown brand.

        You really can't compare the two. Two of the main components of an electric bike is the motor and the battery, the Powerider at least has two respectable branded components in that area, Samsung Battery and Bewo Mid-drive motor. The ebay one, I can't see any brand listed for those two components which usually means it's not worth mentioning. I'm in no way affiliated with justride but definitely have been considering in buying an e-bike for the last few months so been doing some research.

  Seriously considering one of these (currently use a standard push bike - 24k daily ride one way)so the thunder seems ideal
  Question is - how much is a replacement battery? Are they easy to remove (If I had to charge at work once its getting on a bit)
  Is the frame size considered a medium?

  Anyone have real world experience with them as a daily?

  Is it any cheaper if I pickup (I'm located in Melb)

    Hi, the battery cost $650 currently, they are very easy to remove, you just need 1 second. the frame size depends on your height, Medium size is for people who under 170cm.
    we have lots of reviews on Productreview website. you can pick up, but unfortunately the price will be the same.
