i knew B&J's was expensive, but $11 for 3 ice cream slices?!

    • Yeah i see them all the time

I don't get how they can charge so much

Has anyone here tried them out?

      • Yes these pint slices are very good, there are two flavors, and one is much better than the other IMHO, just cant remember which one was the preferred one.

      • The chocolate coating was a big let down when I tried them. Not worth it IMO. They don't do these as well as they do their tubs.

Still too expensive in my opinion. They are nice but nothing special. You are just paying for the brand.

    • Spot on. I sampled these for free when they were given outside South Yarra railway station (thanks to the OzBargain thread :D) - thought they were just okay, no way at the price they are selling.

Haven't try the sticks, but the tubs so far,

core chocolate, fudge and Jimmy's version, all 3 were imo best icecreams you can try. But I bought them at $6.00. Could be still worth it at $9.00 but not $12.00.

If all are full priced, then B&J is worth it, but of course we all know week in and week out there's discounts on other IC brands, so price comes first before taste for me… lol.

  • these are basically just ice cream sandwiches, aren't they? i got some from aldi the other day, and they were freaking great

    • did you get the aldi brand or did you get the B&J brand ones ?

    • No they're "pint slices", they're literally slices of the ice cream that you'd find in a tub, coated in chocolate. No biscuit. :(

  • Why are they called pint slices when you get less than half a pint in a packet? Someone call CHOICE and nominate them for a shonky award,
