    Don't forget Cashrewards 5%

and 10% off DJ's eGift cards

    • Where's the best place to get the discounted gift cards?

      • I think entertainement book has the 10% e gift cards for DJ's

That brings down the price to $597.65. Pretty impressive

no more DJs giftcard from entertainment books. They are pulling out on this deal. I think AGL and other reward programs will no longer offer it soon if they haven't already.

      • I checked my AGL reward. It's 8% off for DJs egiftcard

  • Tempting deal..

  • Would you rather get this, or the V8 carbon fibre?

    • +4

V8 Carbon Fibre. It's more powerful on air watts suckage, and will have many more tools and it's cheaper. There's a reason it's only available in select Asia-Pacific countries in mainstream retailers - it'd eat the V10 on value, features.

The only advantage of V10 would be the International V10 Absolute - else the V10 Animal and Australian Absolute Plus don't have the torque drive features, and is a parity match for the V8 Carbon Fibre.

But if Dyson is selling it on aussie Ebay, they will respect the warranty…

Doesn't the V8 have a significantly smaller sized bin capacity?

      • Wait.. wha…
I thought torque drive head included on every v10 except motorhead

  • +4

The v11 should bring this down further

LOL thought you were joking. But just saw that such a thing has been released!

  • next minute DJ will be sending email saying out of stock!

Then they will tell you to walk into their store to process the refund.

Given the number of people who get excited about the Dyson "deals" that are posted on an almost daily basis, is there some underlying quality issue with Dyson's that has people needing to buy a new vacuum so frequently? I know they're made in China and mostly plastic, but if you only get 12 months out of one, they'd want to be at 90% discount before I'd be interested.

We bought 3 Dyson vac's so far, all still working

Started with a DC35 (ozbargain deal) that was around $199 on a promo 7-8 years ago

Bought a V6 as an Ozb impulse buy so we had a vac upstairs and downstairs

Bought a V10 with the ebay plus deal last year for $599, which replaced the DC35, which is now the car vac

The V10 is amazing, worth the $$ for the amount of dirt, dust, hair it picks up, all others work fine still

    • I worked for a vacuum manufacturer as a designer in the past. I can tell you the Dyson may not be the best machine nor the best value, but their cyclone filtration system is first class, generally well built with great after sales service.
