- $15 creditted to your account for orders over $150

Only one claim per order. Tobacco and tobacco related products do not count towards the qualifying amount.
Place multiple orders - claim the offer multiple times.

And the usual questions:
- Is there a delivery fee? When you shop online there is, but no delivery or collection fee with Click & Collect
- Are the prices the same online? Fresh lines, like fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy, bakery and deli lines are the same online as they are in store. Other items are slightly higher to account for the picking and packing of your order. But instore, you won't get $15 off $150 orders or $25 off $200 orders either.
- Are catalogue specials available online? Yes, except multibuys, and there are also some Online Exclusive products and specials that you can't get in store.

Finally, if you take up the offer, be sure to check in on Foursquare when you collect your order.

Make the prices the same as in store and you will win me back from Woolies if you ever do this in my area.

Agreed - how is having someone pick and pack your items any different from paying someone to stack the shelves, serve you at the deli, or scan your items at the checkout.

      • The main reason is when you shop online, the costs associated with stacking shelves, being served at the deli, rent and electricity etc don't disappear. The orders are still hand picked from a local store, not a warehouse.

The problem with picking from a warehouse is you need a massive amount of volume to make it viable and in close proximity - one of the largest costs is transport in a temperature controlled van. We used to have a warehouse model about 3 years ago, but having these vans travel over 100kms to make a delivery is extremely inefficient. The current delivery fees are as low as they are because the stores are closer to the destinations.

As we've grown in size, the price differences from online and in store have become less. But to put it bluntly - if all the prices were the same as in store, the service would be unprofitable and likely closed down.

Sure, it doesn't suit everyone and will not replace the in store as the most popular form of shopping in my life time at least, but it does work for over 1M customers each year with Coles Online.

        • The current delivery fees are as low as they are because the stores are closer to the destinations.

It sounds more like the current delivery fees are as low as they are because you've actually built the fee into the online price of items. The true cost of delivery is much higher than the misleading "delivery fee" listed on the site.

Yeah, I wholeheartedly agree. I used to only use Coles online and get everything delivered, but the price difference got ridiculous. When you're paying for them to deliver it, dont see why we should be paying extra on every item as well.

Stopped using Coles online a few years ago and wouldnt go back.

  • I don't find coles express any good. my experience with the Queens St mall brisbane CE is that they don't have the advertised specials (though I stopped going there 18months ago so maybe that has changed). I'd rather go to the Barracks (I work in between the 2) and have a wider range and specials(after all this is OzBARGAIN)

    • The coles express in this instance is the service station and not the convenience store. from what the OP mentioned above, all order will be packed at a full size Coles Supermarket and have them delivered to the selected Coles Express service station for customer pickup.
