Samsung 1TB 860 QVO 2.5in SATA SSD - $159 Pickup @ Umart

130

1TB SSD for a healthy upgrade. This is the cheapest this SSD will get.

*Edit: The cheapest it'll get at Umart, not for the SSD itself across other retailers

    • lmao, no I meant for Umart - but yes go ahead, get it from Computer Alliance

      • Oftt, that must have hurt.

        • lol not really, just trying to put up deals on here because we figured we may as well. Like I said, go ahead and grab it from CA if you really want. They're good people :)

I bought this exact drive from Umart on the 3rd of March and although the Samsung website (https://www.samsung.com/au/offer/farcrynewdawn/) states that this drive is eligible and Umart is Participating Supplier I was refused a code from Support when contacted saying i wasnt entitled to it.

If anyone is hanging out for Far Cry New Dawn as an added bonus (from Umart) I would advice against it.

    • From Umart Support or Samsung?

      • Umart Support. I have the emails.

        • Bruh.. HMU. DM me your order number and I'll look into it

    • I've just purchased this drive earlier today. I'll flick through my order number / ticket to UmartBuddy too.
Did you have any success hzac?

  • Would this fit in Dell 15 inch inspiron laptop?

      Which model?

But most likely yes, 15" tends to have 2.5" SATA slot.

      • ya checked it in components, it is indeed 2.5 inch thanks

  • I just bought this from centralpc or something like that 5 days ago for $161 shipped and received 2 days ago.
Sorry cant remember the exact web name, just google it, central… something :)

  • Would the QVO be suitable for just games? (For fast loading, texture streaming,) and PS4 pro?

  • Would QVO be a reliable SSD as OS drive in the long run? Or even as Cache drive for video editing (After Effects & Premiere Pro)?

  • Ordered this and a Vega 64. As I'm located in Melbourne I can't go and pick it up (as your store here has been "closed" for pickup for ages). However, you are instead shipping my order from Brisbane, which will take 4 days.

And you slapped me with a credit card surcharge.

    Not impressed so far.
